We are totally enjoying our F&W experience. It has been several years since we were here at this time and the program is wonderful. We have really enjoyed the variety of foods available at the WS kiosks as well as the number and quality of the programs available.

We have attended several of the free wine programs - New Zealand's Oyster Bay winery yesetrday and the Chandon Brut sparkling wine seminar today. We have enjoyed meals at New Zealand, Argentina, Australia and USA. Our favorite was tonite's Lobster roll at the US booth. Delicious offering.

I already described our wine pairing at Le Cellier from a few days ago where we enjoyed the icewine pairings. We have another dining program at the Odyssey on Thursday - a 5 course meal "Pride of the Northwest".

The last two nights we totally enjoyed the Beach Boy concerts

. Each group performs 3 shows each day while they are here. We were able to make 4 of the Beach Boy shows. They performed about 10 songs each show (different songs each show) and were really crowd favorites.

Tonite we enjoyed the Little Richard show

While not as energetic as the last 2 nights, the performance was very enjoyable.

If you have not experienced the F&W Fesitval, I would really suggest planning a trip during this time period.

Hey Doc

Sounds and looks like yall are having a great time. We went to F&W 2 yrs ago and really enjoyed it. We saw The Commodores(DS got to shake hands with one of the guys) and really enjoyed. Keep having fun!!

What GREAT entertainment!!

We saw my favorite KOOL & THE GANG 2 years ago. We will be there on Friday and cannot wait! Im sure the Beach Boys was a full house.

For those with XM radio, Channel 8 (80's) will broadcast live the Loverboy and Starship concerts from Epcot :thumbsup2

Doc:
Great pics!! Did you see the cookbook anywhere? It hadn't arrived from the printer yet when we were there the 1st week.

Was the Lobster Roll available to everyone, or part of a special program? I would love to try one.

I love the concerts, Three Dog Night, here we come, on Friday!!!

Thank you for the pictures of the concerts and the CR!

The Lobster Roll is available to everyone at the USA Booth in front of the American Pavillion - within view of the American Gardens Theater where 3 Dog will be performing. They also offer ribs/corn-on-the-cob. Lobster Roll is $6.50 and well worth it.

Enjoy!

Thanks for the first-hand report! We'll be there in 9 days!!!

Doc, How long are you staying at WDW?

There is a DIS meet at BCV's Solarium on Saturday at 3PM. It's for the Member Cruise but I'm sure others will stop by too, all are welcome. Also, some of us are going to ESPN Club that night to watch game 1 of the World Series.

I wish I knew you were there Sunday because I was there too. I walked by the 8:15PM Beach boys line and thought 'these people are nuts waiting, no way will they make it in'. The line was almost past Germany, but they (the Beach Boys manager) said everyone would make it in. They were very good and you could here from Germany until almost France.

I saw the cookbook in the Festival Center shop just past the Wine Cellar. I believe it was $10.95.

F&W Fest is great. We have been twice, this year we saw Mickey Thomas and Starship. Love sampling all the food, Argentina was my fav this time with the Spicy Beef Empenada and Grilled Sirloin w/Chimichurra and little mashed potato mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Doc thanks for the pictures and updates.......We look forward to our first F&W in a couple of weeks. My out laws are meeting us there for the grand finally weekend. They are the wine people that are really looking forward to trying some of what available.

Sounds great. F&W is one thing that I think would interest my DW at WDW. I'll have to think of a way to ask her.
