From an e-mail from Meeker Winery, they'll be supplying the wine for the 2011 F&W Citricos signature wine dinner to be held on November 1, 2011.

Excellent! First known food and wine schedule date. Would like to try that one, but I'll be on a cruise.

Thank you so much for sharing that info! :flower3:

So Nov. 1 was supposed to be our Citricos night, and now I have a stupid question.

We're doing the Platinum plan for 1 night, and the 2 dinners we want on that plan are Citricos and Victoria and Alberts. We'll just move Citricos to Nov. 2 and put Victoria and Alberts on Nov. 1.

My stupid question is... since Citricos and V&A share a foyer, will a large event at Citricos affect our dining at V&A that night?

I'm thinking it won't be a problem, but I've never been to either Citricos/V&A or Food and Wine, and I hate to assume anything. I've seen pictures of masses of humanity at Food and Wine events, so I'm picturing chaos at Citricos that night and wondering if that might possibly affect V&A availability or reservation times. We have to do an early V&A dinner--hopefully 5:45, as we're also planning the Wishes cruise that night.

Please tell me I'm worrying about nothing. :rotfl2:

You won't even notice that there's anything going on at Citrico's. Victoria and Albert's is very isolated from Citrico's. And the wine dinners are always limited to a set capacity. I know I got a bit boisterous after all the wine I drank at a Citrico's dinner, but I have gotten somewhat "happy" after wine pairings at V&A, too. It's all relative.

Food and wine events at Citrico's have no bearing on availability at Victoria and Albert's. My last visit, the seating time was 5:15pm for early seating. Also, this is at least a 3 hour experience, so you would need to tell your servers at V&A that you have a Wishes cruise booked. They could probably serve you faster than you would have been otherwise.

Thank you BriarRosie!!

The Nov. 1 wishes should be a Hallowishes, which probably means 9:30 fireworks, and I assume 8:45 check-in. So we might be able to actually squeeze in about a 3 hour dinner if we get the earliest seating. I think you're right that we should let them know in any case.

I can't wait to experience both Citricos and Victoria and Alberts!

It will definitely make your night easier when you warn the servers in advance. :thumbsup2 Enjoy your good eats!
