Anyone signed up for the Cheese and Wine Pairing Workshops
Ariel's, located at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts?

I've never done this but considering it. Any thoughts?

As far as I know, it is new this year. So, nobody knows what or how good it will be.

Yes it is at Ariel's which is at the Y&BC

My wife & I will be there 11am on 30th September.

We did something similar in 2001. It wasn't offered as part of Food & Wine as such, but was an event held for Disney Dining Members only at the Yacht Club. Back then, Disney Dining club members were allowed to book a week before bookings opened for everyone else and as a result most events were already fully booked when reservations opened to non dining club members. I had grumbled to the organiser about this and was offered the cheese & wine as a consolation prize. The following year, dining club members were not allowed to book ahead of everyone else, so maybe my complaint found its way through to senior management!

If this one is the same as the earlier one, you will enjoy it.

We are signed up for this one as well as the Food & Wine Pairing Workshop also being held at Ariel's. I've always found the Food & Wine pairings in the WS countries to be worth the cost compared to the other special offerings. As others have said, these are new offerings this year so we will all be experiencing them for the first time. Hopefully they will exceed expectations. After doing the Party for the Senses last year(which was wonderful by very expensive), we decided to make better use, for us anyway, of the same money for more of the less expensive offerings such as these two new ones & the Sweet Sundays.

Looking forward to this event on October 22. I thought - nothing else to do on a Sunday in WDW :lmao: hehe

It sounded interesting so Mum and I signed up.

I remember 2 years ago one of the free seminars was "Pairing Food and Wine"
I was really bummed becuase it was only held on a couple Monday's during the festival and we arrived Tuesday and Left Sunday.
I did not sign up for the Pairing Cheese and Wine, but did sign up for the pairing Food and Wine. I'm hoping it will be a little instructional, as well as delicious. We're going 11/5. Originally it was sold out and I booked 11/12, but then the e-mail waitlist came through.
I'm looking forward to it.

I spent the expensive bucks and booked Party for the Senses on 10/14. While I'm sure it will be excellent, I think the less expensive offerings will be wonderful, too.

Where I can get more info on this Wine and Cheese Workshop? Do they only hold it on specific dates? I would like to do this! :sunny:

I found the best information on www.allearsnet.com under Dining and then Special Events. Deb Wills also has reviews from last year's F & W special events!

I'm going to the first one.

Can't tell till I get there how it is.

Do we need to make reservations now or do we sign up when we get there?

There is a risk that these things will sell out.

Deb's site generally keeps good tabs

I have booked mine and am trying to decide... due to my limited time I have both the Wine and Cheese AND Party for the Senses on the SAME DAY! I just don't know.....

I have them on the same day but the pairing thing is at 11:30 and P4TS isn't until 6 or so, so I think I am okay with that.
