F&W and lots of buffets! 10/24-10/31 *New 11/6 Crystal Palace*

whaaaa? where? How come I didn't know this! I blame the DIS boards for not making me aware of this earlier. ;)

It is back by Mickey's Pantry & the side entrance of the Christmas shop.We came across it by
accident a dozen plus years ago on our honeymoon.:lovestruc

We woke up for our first full at Disney World, and where were we going to go? MK, of course! I had scored an 8:30 AM ADR at Crystal Palace, and dangit those boys were coming whether they wanted to or not! All of the boys like to sleep in, and I let them do it for the majority of the trip. But this morning, I wanted to get there just once in my life before park opening and take my pictures in front of the castle with no one else there!

So we got on an early bus to MK, and were seated next to a very nice family who was going early for BBB. It was the little girls birthday so my DS gave her one of his pins. My heart melted right then and there!

So we got there early and got to take this pic:

We then checked in at CP and given a pager. We only waited for about 5 minutes until they called us in. We got a great window side seat with this view:

I don't like sitting in the center of that restaurant. It is to crowded and people are always bumping into you to get to the buffet.

We went to go get our meals, and this is my sons plate:

He loved his hard boiled eggs the best. Everything else he kind of picked at. I think he just wanted the cereal so he could use the fun cereal dispenser. But next he ate this plate (which was originally mine, but as soon as he saw it he gave me those puppy eyes and I was lost.)

He LOVED the Mickey choc waffels. Ate that up in 5 seconds flat. We both shared the French toast puff and we both liked it!

Now this was my wonderful picky eater brother's plate.

Yes, just an apple.

I forced him to go get another plate (which I forgot to take a picture ofv:headache:) but it had a bagel, grapes, and bacon on it. And nothing else. This kid. He liked everything he got though.

Now my plate:

It was all good food, especially the biscuits and gravy! The bacon was Disney bacon, but it was still edible. And then I shared the previously pictures french toast puff with my son which I really liked!

Now onto the big eaters plate:

This man loves his breakfast. He got another plate that had pretty much the same food on it so I didn't take a picture. His favorite was the potato casserole. He said all the food tasted like something he would make at home, which is a very high compliment from this man.

We saw Tigger and Piglet, but Eeyore and Pooh never came by. :( We were there for a pretty long time to, and didn't feel like waiting anymore. I was sort of surprised at this because it wasn't that full and last time we came we saw all of them with about the same crowd levels. Oh well, I promised we would see Pooh somewhere else to my DB because Pooh is his favorite. But of course, we never saw him again. Just didn't have the time, or when we happened to be by him his line was closed/he was on a break/etc.

Analysis: Food and ambience was pretty good. I would give that a 4/5 rating. Not seeing all the characters was a dissapointment.
