Sorry- what pp said. I was comparing flights to full size beer purchased at stands. Not sure why I did that, maybe I need a beer! The individual sample beers are only slightly larger than the individual cups in the flight.

Thanks for clarifying. It’s always possible that they changed something, but I figured if anything they would give you less beer or greater price so you must be talking about a “regular” beer.
OP- I’m assuming you’re asking because you’re looking for the best value. When calculating the beer cost last time we went: The flight (3) is equivalent to two individual and costs (usually) slightly more. I looked at it as basically paying 50cents for the cardboard carrier and the opportunity to taste the third beer.
DH has a log of all the beers we have tried (I think we are in the 800s now) so we wanted to try everything regardless of type. If there’s something you know that you will not like in the flight, it’s more cost effective to just buy the one beer that you do want to try.
