Several people have mentioned leaving an extra tip for the servers at Palos as the DCL cover isn't enough to reward the service. How is this done? Do you tip at the end of the trip as you do the other servers or do you bring cash along to leave on the table as you would at a restaurant? Also, how have you calculated the amount to leave?

You leave the tip by adding it to the bill at the end of your meal. You will have the $5.00 or $10.00 charge per person (depending on Brunch or Dinner) and also anything extra you may have purchased (alchohol / special coffees).

Anyway, we left anywhere from $20-25 as an extra tip for dinner. We figured the $5 x 2 was also added to this amount. Hope this helps, and I hope I wasn't too cheap. Anybody? Let me know!

At the end of your meal at Palo's they will ask you for your KTTW card and have you sign for the additional $5 per person and any additional drink purchases to be charged to your ship account. There is a spot on the receipt where you can include an additional tip-just like if you were paying with your credit card at a restaurant. Your additional tip would be added onto your ship account. We estimated how much we would have paid at a nice restaurant for our dinner-which was filet-and that's how we came up with our tip. I don't remember the amount though.

I thought 15% gratuity was added to all drink orders automatically?
