This story would cost you an hour of what’s left of your life to read in full. And my writing skills are neither succinct nor interesting.😀 I’ll try to keep it short but no promises.

daughter number two and her family and my wife and me, each with our own DVC contracts, booked a 4 day trip to BRV, in late March. Her school sc shifted and we will have to shift that to April 6 To 10. I booked the same days in March in a brv studio on my contract.

Then we saw a couple of videos re Vero Beach and became intrigued. So the plan evolved to splitting the four days to pairs, two days at each. I know 4 days even in one - place was a challenge but this decision is a concession to oldest grandson who has had teen-age decision that DW no longer interests him, but a day plus at Vero beach very much does . Actually we all want to try it and, but, the rest of us needs our DW fix, if only for a little while.

we knew that we’d have to wait to tomorrow to reserve Vero at 7 months out. We are not even sure if Vero has availability for each of us those days. If they don’t, then we will work on merely rescheduling our original BRVplans, again hoping that scheduling there is a go.

If they do, then the flow chart splits. My daughter should book first via phone. I doubt that online will work. If she gets a 1 BR, then I can call for a studio there. If I get that Then we can adjust BRV off original dates, and cut it in half. Then we’re good?

a fly in the ointment is that she can’t call from work. she’ll need to find time to call later than 9 AM to start the tumbler and THEN I can call. If she can’t get a one bedroom, she’s out And returns to 4 days BRV at a rescheduled date. If I can’t get a studio then I‘m out of VB and will reschedule the original BRV dates.

I really am a stickler for calling at first bell. Things fly off the shelf early on!

so now the first of two questions,…. Can I book for the BOTH of us at 8 AM? If so how?

second question … have I left any conditional “variables” out of my thinking?

if you read this far, thank you!

First of all, wow! And good luck!

To answer your first question, you can book both of you at 8 AM, but sequentially, i.e., book one room then book another. If you can do all you need to do using your points, that would be the easiest because it would mean logging in just once. If you want to use her points for her room(s), then you’ll need to log in with her credentials and log in with yours either afterwards or on a separate browser or window.

thanks I just made her an Associate and she made me one too. Does that help?

Yes, because now both of you can book via the other one's membership. You will each have your own login to the other one's membership, so no need to have her credentials.

You're getting good advice in your other thread, so :tink: :tink: :tink:
