Looking for a fun tour or dinning event to book on our early January trip. I will already be doing the jet ski tour my self, but looking for fun suggestions that are age appropriate for my family of 4 to do as well(1yo and 4yo kids).

Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade Dining Package?

Thinking that is something that is during the kids awake hours vs firework parties.

Any feedback on the VIP viewing area or food for lunch? Is it anything of the menu or pre fixe? I am gluten free so Italian is never my first pick!

Any other suggestions for fun experiences?

We will be there for 8 days staying at monirail resorts so not really thinking we need an early morning ticketed event into the parks to have fantasyland to ourselves kinda thing. But maybe you could convince me?

For a fun non-park experience for kids that age, take the bus from MK to Art of Animation resort and check out the play areas and the theming in the different sections. You can have lunch at the counter service restaurant - Landscape of Flavors.

Yes to this! We explored AoA and had lunch there on our arrival day last year. It was a great way to kick off the trip.
