Extra Magic Hours??

Hi, this is our first time back to disney since they started the EMH. Can anyone explain to me how it works? How do they just let the people who stay on property stay at the park, and kick everyone else out? I'm a little confused...can anyone help me?

If you are already in the EMH park, you will have to show your resort id card and you will be given a wristband which will allow you to stay in the park. If you are entering a park for EMH, you will show your resort id outside the park in order to obtain a wristband and be allowed in. Have a great time....

When we've been to Extra Magic Hours you just had to show your resort ID to enter the park on a EMH morning, no wristbands. For the evening EMH you showed your resort ID to obtain a wristband which allowed you on the rides/attractions. I don't think WDW is kicking the non-resort people out on EMH evenings. They just can't ride anything.
