Extra Magic Hours via Epcot's "back door"

We're taking a trip in April, staying at BCV. We like to walk to Epcot via the International Gateway entrance. My question is about Early Entry days. When they open the front entrance of Epcot, they put up ropes near spaceship earth which come down when the clock strikes the hour. What do they do at the back entrance? Where do they stop you on your way into FutureWorld? If we have to wait back by the bridge, by the time we get to Soarin' the lines will be really long, making Early Entry useless. Anyone ever done the back gate first thing in the morning?

I think it is at the end of the rose garden?

so you can get pretty far if I am right.

I wouldn't call it useless... but yes, it seems that from the International Gateway entrance you are at a competitive disadvantage to getting to Future World attractions. A true "theme park commando" would not be content using the IG entrance.

We did this last week, and the rope was at the top of the little hill after you get through the turnstiles. We did the mad rush to Soarin'... and we were not the first in line... but we were admitted almost immediately. The parks were not too crowded however. It may be worse during peak crowds.
