Can anyone tell me what rides are open during the extra magic hours? I know that Frontierland and Adventureland aren't open, but is it just Fantasyland?

Hi. It's most of Fantasyland (everything except Casey Jr and Canal Boats) and all of Tomorrowland.

I don't think I've ever seen Autopia open during MM/EMH though (neither is Captain Eo but that's more of a technicality).

Got to love Extra Magic Hours...the one time I did it, I rode Space Mountain 3 times and Star Tours once, all in the course of 20 minutes of each other

Hi. Yes, you're right, I forgot autopia isn't open. I wasn't counting EO since it's just closed period.

Thanks for the quick responses. I am doing Disneyland solo that day and want to hit the rides in Fantasyland more geared to the youngsters. I haven't done any of them and there is no way I would ever get my DH to do them with me. I am staying at the Disneyland Hotel, would it be better to take the Monorail?

Hi - and no 1000x. You cannot depend on the monorail to start on time nor get you into the park at opening. Walking will be far more dependable. Enjoy the rides :)

.....have not done any of them....well, if you are in a rope drop, close to the rope, start with Peter Pan, do not let the chaos around the entrance of Peter pan scare you, stick with the flow of the people and you will have that accomplished under 20mins, don't get distracted by no lines at snow white or her wooden neighbor, they are like that for the next two hours. After pan, do toad or alice. If in the park all day, then come back and do dumbo at sunset. and may I suggest riding snow white three times in a row, take in that opening kitchen scene to see the best themed 10 feet in the entire park.

Here's the list of open attractions (that I had handy in my folder full of over-planning for our first DLR trip!). The bolded attractions have FastPass available during regular park hours:

Disneyland:
Alice in Wonderland
Dumbo
King Arthur Carousel
Mad Tea Party
Matterhorn
Mr Toad's Wild Ride
Peter Pan's Flight
Snow White's Scary Adventures
Astro Orbiter
Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters
Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage
Space Mountain
Star Tours

Disneyland Monorail
Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough

Disney California Adventure:
California Screamin'
King Triton's Carousel
The Little Mermaid - Ariel's Undersea Adventure
Toy Story Midway Mania!
Mater's Junkyard Jamboree
Radiator Springs Racers
Soarin'
Tower of Terror

It depends. Sometimes, when it's timed right, the monorail gets to Tomorrowland right at rope drop. So, if you are going to Space Mountain/ Star Tours, you can get a little head start against the rope drop mob. But, no, it doesn't always work out that way.
