DH and I are cruising with DCL next week. We added one day at WDW before the cruise. But, we are not staying on property. We are out of points this year, so I found a no-so-scary hotel off grounds. (At least that's what princeline said. 
) We are planning on valeting at the BW since we are eating dinner there that night.
HS has early hours that morning. We have APs and would like to go in early. I can't recall ever having to show my room key to get into the extra hours. I just remember scanning my AP. But I've never really thought about it since we've always stayed on grounds.
Can we get into the park during early hours with the APs? Do DVC members get the extra hours regardless of where they stay?
