Not sure if we are allowed to do this and if it is, how to go about it. We are staying (2 adults, 2 kids) at POFQ for 6 nights. MIL lives in Florida and we MIGHT invite her to drive up at stay with us for a couple of nights.

1. How much more would it be each night for her? It seems like it would be minimum.
2. Is she allowed to at this resort? She would bring her own aerobed.

thanks.

I think you can only have 5 in a room at Port Orleans Riverside in the Alligator Bayou section. I don't think any of the other mods, POFQ, CBR, or CSR allow 5 guests in the room.

Your room at POFQ has a capacity of 4 people (plus a child under 3 in the pak n play. If both of your children are over 3 then you can't add your MIL. If one is under 3 then you can add her and it will cost you only $15.00 per night for the extra adult (only 2 adults allowed in the room for the normal price)

Don't forget that if you are on the ddp, then everyone staying must be on the same package for the amount of nights your party is staying.

Meaning: If you have a 7 night stay with DDP and you want to add your mother-in-law for one night, she will be charged for 7 nights of ddp.

You can pretty much disregard this. Your mom does not have to be on the DDP if she's only coming for a few nights. You can just pay OOP for her meals.

You will have to change your reservation to POR Alligator Bayou section, as POFQ won't allow 5 in a room, unless one of your children is under 3. When your mom arrives, just let the front desk know, they'll issue her a Key, you can get her park admission separately, and they'll probably charge you $15/nt for her.

You could choose to disregard this, but it would be breaking the rules:

The Basic Magic Your Way Dining Plan can only be purchased as follows:
1. If you are a non-Disney Vacation Club member, you must purchase a Magic Your Way vacation package at a Disney resort for your entire party with at least one day's park admission. The number of days for the Dining Plan will equal the number of nights you have reserved your room on the package. It has nothing to do with the number of days of park admission you have.

So, if you tell the frontdesk about your MIL they are supposed to charge her for a 1day MYW ticket. Plus they will charge you for an extra dining plan multiplied by the amount of nights you are staying, not your MIL.

You could just have her show up, no reservation no extra guest charge, then no one would know to charge her for those things. She wouldn't have a room key or a bed but that's the trade-off.
