I am planning on staying for 11-13 days next november starting Nove 1. Any suggestions on how to book it for that length? i have two home resorts 125/200. also going to be competing with the dreaded jersey week

Book as many days as you can at 11 months at each home resort then decide where you want to stay and try to book there at 7 months.

Ideally you book 7 days at each resort at the 11+7 window but you are not planning on 14 days.
If you can get by with "just" the 200 point contract (and want to stay there) that could be 400 or 600 points to use if you are banked)

I would probably book the Jersey week as the full 7 days at the window opening and add remaining days calling each day.

We booked Jersey Week for this year at about 10 months out: 2BR AK-Kidani Std View. Am wait-listed for a dedicated, but the lock-off with no issues. Then I got extra points from another source and booked a studio savannah view for my parents the same week at 7 months out.

Since you are planing so far ahead, if resort preferences are flexible, I would imagine you will be able to get something for your stay.

Jersey week is busy in the parks, but I guess I've never had it affect our ability to book a DVC room on or near the 11 month mark.

I don't recall ever booking in November, but our stays are usually 14 nights. And if I don't have all the points for the Home resort I want, I usually choose the week or days that are usually busier at that time and book at 11 mths the Home resort I want to stay in at that time. Then I book the rest of my dates with the points from my other Home resorts. I try to book as many dates I can with the preferred Home resort and then just hope to change the other dates at the 7 mth mark. Sometimes I'm lucky and I am able to change the few days to get all 14 nights at one resort, and other times, I end up having to do a split stay. As long as you're prepared for that, you'll be fine.

Good Luck.
