Extended Stay in Lake Buena Vista vs Days Inn Maingate East

Has anyone stayed here? What do you think of it. I can get it for $29 off Hotwire. (at least I'm pretty sure this is the place) I can also stay at Days Inn Mingate East for the same $ where would you stay? Why?

It is only me for 5 nights I just want a decent place with breakfast in the am.

The Extended Stay in Lake Buena Vista has a continental breakfast. The rooms at the Extended Stay have a kitchen so you can cook your own meals. However, the lodging has weekly housekeeping, meaning you have to clean up after yourself. You can request housekeeping, but they charge for the maid to clean up your mess.

As for the Days Inn Maingate East, I believe it is the property by Old Town. I have not heard a single good review of the property. I've heard some horror stories. $29 is a fabulous price, but I expect a terrible room from the past stories.

To sum, I would stay away from the Days Inn and book the Extended Stay. The Extended Stay is the better deal.

I agree with Fred!- DD and I stayed at the Days Inn Maingate East last January, and we were not happy. Between the key cards that wouldn't work, the door lock that needed to be fixed at 11pm (and the maintenence guy that told me, "just pull a chair up against the door when you go to bed, in case I didn't fix it good" ), and the disinterested and lackluster service, we were glad to get out of there when our stay was over.

I have a reservation at Extended Stay LBV for May (got it on Hotwire for $32/night), and based on the reviews I've read, it should be a much better experience. Free continental b'fast, spacious rooms, full kitchens, and close proximity to DTD are all things that make it seem like I will be getting a great bargain on a decent place to stay.
