If I was a betting man, I would bet that the hours currently posted for Christmas week will not be the actual hours. As long as closing times are staggered to spread out bus capacity, I could see hours being extended. Extended hours COULD serve to further spread the buses. Instead of closing times staggered every hour, they could be staggered every two hours. AK closes at 6. HS closes at 8. Epcot closes at 10. MK closes at 12.
This is obvious speculation, but let's face it, the parks may be closed Christmas week!
I hope so, but there's no way of knowing. Right now their priorities are reducing guests' exposure to each other and keeping the place clean, so the reduced hours make sense.
We have to remember that Disney has never been through anything like this before, so they're still figuring it all out too. I'm sure once the parks open back up, they'll be able to see what works and what needs to be tweaked. They'll have five months between opening and Christmastime to fix glitches and oil the machine. If all goes well, I would hope they'll at least bump hours back closer to normal.
Or it could be a disaster and they'll shut back down completely for the rest of the year.
I think there will be a miraculous disappearance of the virus in November. There are more positive cases because there is more testing yet, not an increase in deaths. But then the data doesn't support that claim. I really expect this to die out by then. So, I do think there will be MVMCP along with normal park hours for the holidays.
Check out the latest from the CDC and scroll down to the report on last weeks cases. Am I missing something? I thought they were reporting a spike in cases. I also find it curious as you read each column that there isn't one stating Covid 19 only. It is always attached to another illness. Hence the wording "Involving." and "or". I don't know if you all know this but, they don't have to test someone for Covid 19 to list them as cause of death Covid 19. They simply have to assume and then they can list that on the cause of death. Testing is not required.

All Deaths involving COVID-19 (U07.1)1

Deaths involving Pneumonia, with or without COVID-19, excluding Influenza deaths

It will all depend on the CoVid-19 situation most likely.
In the past, park hours have changed a month, week, day before and day of. So anything is possible.
I think park hours will be longer by Christmas season. It just doesn't pay to announce longer hours in advance because then more guests will try to rebook for later in the year.

I hope the hours are reduced in December. Gives me more time to sit on the Boardwalk with my Jameson and dream about the old days when we had 24 hr parties, EMH every day, fast pass and Hoop Dee Doo. And the poster above has it correct. A miraculous cure will happen in 4 months.
