I've heard many people say to avoid the extended park hour days. Does that apply to the slower times of the year? We are going Sept 20 - 27 and are not park hopping. Should we avoid the parks on the days they have extended hours (we are staying off site) TIA!

I have always heard that as well. I think most people listen to that and avoid the park. We always start our day at the park that is open late. We start with an early dinner then enjoy the rest of the time there. We have never been crowded. We are always there the week of my birthday, September 21st. This year we will be there September 20-29th. We also do not park hop. I wish you could stay onsite to enjoy the extra magic hours, I love to go in the evening when it is not too hot. Have a great time!

since you're not going to any evening EMH's I'd avoid that park that day. We always go in Sept, but usually the week of Labor Day, and never had to worry about crowds. This year we'll be there the 19th thru the 26th and I'm wondering how much busier it will be. One year we went the week before Christmas and went to each park on the morning after it's late hours. That seemed to work out fine.
