Staying off site. Family of 6. Never been to IOA or USF. Do you think we should buy Express Plus Passes now or wait?. Cost right now is $25.99 for Sunday Aug. 24 and Mon. Aug. 25? Thinking IOA one day and USF the other day.

Any help , suggestions and guidance would be appreciated.

I would wait and purchase them at the park...you might find you won't need them. If you get there at opening, you should be able to do some of the bigger rides before the crowds arrive. I doubt you would need them on Monday but if the lines start to get out of control, just buy them at the park.

Thanks for the info. Seeing you are so close to the parks, you are "the source" for info.!

greatly appreciated

if the epp tixs were $19.99 i would say forget them. that would indicate a low attendance day for the lines and the park

do what metro stated.

check out the park and the lines that morning before you make a decision on buying the epp.

once you buy them, they are non refundable.
even if you don't use any of them, no money back.

I'd keep in mind that it's only good for one time per ride, correct?

For that much money, maybe stay onsite one night. Then you get two days unlimited. We're going to be there then (hopefully, booked flights just need to decide on room choices). It would be possibly even cheaper than the passes are for the room. Otherwise for that much, it would be $150 per day ($300). You could put 5 people in the room and buy one pass for the 6th person only. That would be of course if you're not actually staying IN the room, since I'd hate to break the fire codes of 5 per room. But that is possibly much cheaper - check out the rates for a room at RPR (the least expensive hotel). Maybe you'd get that for $200 or so. Save $50 (still having to buy the last pass).
