Express passes

I understand for the express passes that they are only valid once per ride. When you stay onsite at one of the hotels your room key is your express pass. Do they just look at your room key and let you on or do they scan it? thanx

Mostly they are scanned. They also have your name, hotel and dates on each persons card.

The express plus pass that you purchase is good for one express ride per attraction. Your room key is good for as many as you want!

Sometimes they just glanced at our cards. Other times they studied our cards. Once they scanned our cards. We were there last week. The purchased Express Tickets are only used once and collected as they are used.
