Express passes worth getting?

Hi,
Me and two others (adults) are going to Universal Studios (not IOA) for the day in February as part of our first trip to Orlando from the UK. We are going the Tuesday after Presidents day.

Is it worth us buying Express passes in advance or seeing how busy it is on the day and buying them on the day if needed?

Can you buy them on the day (even after you have already entered the park)? Are they cheaper if bought in advance? Are they likely to be needed on that day so worth buying in advance anyway?

Thanks for your help
Matthew :)

I doubt you will need them in February unless is Presidents day or something. I'd wait until you get there and buy them if needed. They aren't cheaper in advance so waiting will probably be your best option.

Hiya -
you can buy them all over the park - so should be no problems. We bought them this time - you only get one ride on each without queueing but it really was worth it!!
We went when the passes were cheapest (so park is quietest) , and do NOT like early rising, so turned up 11ish for the day.... the lines on Jaws , MIB , ET, Mummy all over 40min - Shrek ,Jimmy Netron, T2 and others had shorter lines, but we wanted to ride the big ones too - in one day......
