My wife and I are going to be at Universal from June 6-10. She's not too big on the roller coaster thing, which I love, but is generally up for other types of rides. With that in mind, there will probably be a few instances where I'm basically asking her to wait for me while I ride something. Question is this: how much faster would it be for me to do the Express Pass thing as opposed to just using the singles line?

Express is usually faster but it's not free. The single rider lines can get backed up if it's busy. Singles are just filler on each row and if there aren't any empty seats, you will have to wait. I've waited in the single line for Hulk for 40 minutes before so it does happen.

You should have no problems in the single rider line.

Sometimes the coaster single rider lines can be long. Especially for Rip Ride Rockit and sometimes Hulk. Most people are scared of Rip Ride Rockit, so they seem to bring a buddy to ride with them, so there's hardly ever any odd parties which means the single rider can sometimes be at a stand-still for some time.

I seem to find all the other single rider lines to work well, especially at Men in Black and Mummy. :)

My boyfriend had quite a wait (over 30 minutes, I believe) on the SR line for RRR. But generally it seems to work pretty well. I suspect that Express Pass would be faster as a rule, but that doesn't mean it's necessarily worth the cost. :confused3

BTW, as the girlfriend who spent a lot of time waiting for her boyfriend to ride the roller coasters, I can say that I personally didn't really mind. Most of the time, I was so tired from all our other activities that I was happy to just sit down on a bench with a cold drink while I waited. I think the only few times I felt annoyed were when I was worrying about having time for the other stuff we wanted to do, because there was no way for me to be sure how much longer he was going to take to get off the ride.
