I know most recommend staying on-site for the early entry and front of the line pass.. but for economical reasons would staying off-site and buying an express pass for 2 adults and 2 children be worth it? Our main purpose for our mid-March visit is to see WWOHP. We plan on traveling 03/17/2011 - 03/03/21/2011. HELP!!! I need to make reservations ASAP. If this helps we are AAA members.

If you are going to purchase express passes, you don't want to get them until you are actually inside the park and can check out the lines to see if you want them. They can be purchased in many locations INSIDE both parks. No need to fret about them now.

There are so many things to consider. How many days will you spend in US/IOA? If you are spending several, then you can probably go without the passes and just plan to spend more time in lines and try to hit the Harry Potter area late in the day when crowds are thinning out.

Will you buy hoppers? Then you can go into IOA every evening?

After having stayed onsite, I'm now sold on it, but I understand budgets and needing to plan for the expense of onsite or the expense of express pass.
