Hi,

We will be going June 16, and I have already purchased our tickets and the Express Pass for Island of Adventures. There will be 2 adults, and 2 children ages 8 & 2. The 8 year old is not the issue because she is pretty tall, so no worries there.

The 2 year old is where my question comes in... Since we have the Express Pass, how would the swap work for the rides that he can not ride on? :confused3 From the requirements with the height, there are only 2 rides he can get on.. Not an issue, but we will need to swap for the others. Is it the same process, or different?

Thanks in advanced. :goodvibes

Hopefully somebody with more experince will post, but I would think it follows the same system. However, instead of having to wait in the normal line to get the child swap, you just walk through the express line and get the child swap pass. I could be wrong, but I don't see why they would do it any other way.

I don't have any more experience since I don't have kids but that makes perfect sense to me.

Thanks so much guys. I agree it makes sense to me too. It would just seem weird otherwise. That will be interesting.

From what I have read, Universal's child swap system works differently than Disney's. You don't get a pass to come back again, you all wait in line together and then the non-rider with the kids goes to a waiting area until the riders get back and then you can switch adults. So, if you want to use your express pass ticket, you get to the front of the line faster but you just take turns waiting. Same as if you didn't use your express pass, you just get through the line quicker.

OH, also - I have heard the waiting areas are kind of nice - air conditioned! Should help keep the little kids in a good mood. :goodvibes
