Express pass or two days

I'm having trouble deciding. I was planning on doing just 5 day at the begining on may for just disney world but my DH talked me into universal. I don't know if I want to 2 days at universal and 3 at disney. If I do It that way with the extra money for universal I won't be able to get the express pass but I could do 4 days at disney and one day at universal and get express passes for my DH me DD8 and DD 4. Not sure which would be a better idea. We are staying offsite I forgot to mention that

I think you'll be OK without EPs in May...which is an historically slow period. If you decide on a split stay, do Disney first and then Universal...it's so much more relaxing on the Darkside than at Disney.
