Express pass needed for Labor Day weekend

We haven't been to Universal Studios for at least 6 years and we are not staying onsite. Will be going Saturday./Sunday of labor day weekend and was wondering if we need to get a express pass on one of those days?? How busy should the park be on this weekend??

All 3 day weekends increases crowds at any park

But Labor Day weekend is not that heavy at UO compared to other holiday weekends
