I am trying to plan a getaway for our family for my husbands 40th b-day in October. We are looking to go 10/26-10/30. The last time we went was over 4 years ago and we stayed at the Royal Pacific and loved it. To save money we need to stay offsite this time. I am trying to figure out if it would be worth it or not to buy the Express passes. We loved that perk when we were there before. We are not planning on doing the HHN event so we would just be using them during regular park hours. What are the crowds like and will we need them? We'll have our kids with us ages 9 & 4.

Thanks in advance for any help!

You can probably make do w/o EPs in October...the crowds are very manageable during the day. The Studios will close at 5pm on the nights HHN is staged but IOA will stay open until 7pm. Just get there early and if the lines are too long, you can always purchase the EP when you arrive.
