My DD is going for only one day with a school trip. They are staying off site.....would it be worth her $$$$? She is going Easter/Spring break week. Thanks!

The Express Plus passes are an extra $15 for the 1day/1park ticket and $25 extra for the 1day/2 park ticket.

It will allow you to go through the Express Line ONCE for each attraction. After the one time is used, she'll have to wait in the standard line for each additional time she rides that attraction. Unless she gets lucky and the CM forgets to swipe it!!

You can check on the Universal website to see if the Express Plus Passes are available for the date she is going. It wasn't for our dates! They only have a specific number to sell.

HTH!

The express for one park ranges in price from $15-40 and $25-$50 for two parks depending on your date.

Since you didn't give an exact date, I couldn't check. "Spring/Easter Break" is too vague.

The express is available for all dates and seldom sells out before the date you go. If you can't find it for your date, it usually means it is too far in advance to buy them.

They can sell out but usually not before noon on the day of your visit. They do sell out sometimes early for HHN though. Express for HHN needs to be purchased in advance but not for just day visits.

The express is available for all dates and seldom sells out before the date you go but the prices and ability to purchase them are usually set only a month in advance. If you can't find it for your date, it usually means it is too far in advance to buy them.

*When I went online to check the date we will be there (July 21st) that date wasn't available period. I had read on Universal's website that some dates are blacked out. I did see where they could be bought for August and Sept...but none for June or July. Those two months must be blacked-out dates. So, I don't think they are available for all dates as you stated.

June and July are not blacked out. The only time a date is blacked out is when they are sold out which only happens for HHN before the date, not for regular park dates.

Your date of July 21st is there:

"$35 1-Day/1-Park Express Plus Pass

This pass allows you to bypass the regular lines by providing Express Access to almost every attraction at either Universal Studios Florida® OR Universal's Islands of Adventure® theme park. (Theme Park selection is required when entering the quantity of tickets.) Express Access is a separate line at each valid attraction with an average wait of only 15 minutes or less.

Please note that the Express Plus is not valid for admission to either theme park.

This Express Pass is valid on one (1) of the following dates (based on availability):

3/11, 3/13, 3/17 - 3/19, 3/31 - 4/1, 4/8 - 4/22, 5/27 - 8/13, 11/24, 11/25, and 12/21 - 12/31/2006. "

Go here:

http://www.univacations.com//events/index.asp

Click on the "Buy Tickets" tab which is at the top of the page on the right hand portion.

It will take you to a new page, where you then click on the map for Orlando.

When you get to the next page, you click on "1 Park Express" or "2 Park Express" for dates and prices. I would have done a direct link but, because it is a secure site, the direct link will not work and will time out for security reasons.

Thanks for the info........this helps me alot :)
I will have to contact the school to find out the date they are going.

Just called Universal. 1 Day, 2-Park Express Plus pass is $53 per person for March 31 & April 1. :furious:

I think you mean $35 not $53. The price is listed in my post above.

Phamtom,

I see it now. And the 1 day 2 park IS $50.00 for March 31 and April 1, plus tax.....$53 per person, per day!

Just curious..how old is your DD? I am only asking because you probably want to check with her friends and see if they are getting the EPs. She wont want to go in the express line if her friends are waiting in standby, or vice-versa.

$53.00 looks like a mistake (too HIGH) but it`s there for USF express prices.I guess express passes go higher. BEFORE = 35.00 AFTER = 50.00.(comparing phamton`s dates to these some same dates found today online.

$50 is correct for the two park express combo. $35 is for the one park express.

ooh okay,
Hey phamtom I am on these pages today seeing prices, and ordering more meal tickets to be shipped. By the way I hate that the maximun is 8 tickets when I need meal tickets for 3 days.
I got them yesterday(8), and just to make sure they are valid on may, I called today to ask about expiration and the CSR told me they have none.
Is this true?
This means that I don`t have to worry about USF eliminating this deal this year or next year. I need to buy more of these. I enjoy all the rides at usf, but honestly the food is what I enjoy the most since this is the only time that I have time to enjoy the food in my life.

There are no plans to dicontinue at this time. Even if they did, they would honor your tickets that you had paid for. You can also buy them at the park. You might get a little tired of eating at the same places for all three days. Try the Oak tree Tavern on one of the days you don't have the meal deal. I bet it will be a pleasant change from the meal deal and it's pretty cheap. Schwabs Paharmacy is also a good deal and one of my favorites is Boullingerie (I know I've misspelled that one but can't think right now--- It is the Cheesecake Factory across from the Lucy Tribute.) They have great sandwiches and the croissant bread for the sandwiches is wonderful! I also like Pastamore counter service sandwiches if you don't want to go there for a sitdown meal.

I was watching the rest of lost, but now I`m back. Thanks for the advice, but I already went thru training when they had the clearchannel meal certificates for citywalk restaurants only, and I never got tired of eating at the same restaurants. motown 4 times, latin quarter 3 times, pastamore 2 times, and the one restaurant that does not have air conditioner 1 time, and they have a water fountain to cool you off, or wet you like you are on a water ride if U complain that it is too hot to eat. LOL. You eat outside and behind the entrance to the restaurant. Never went back to eat gave the rest of my vouchers to my brother, and forgot the restaurant name. LOL.Trust me if I have the time, and I am comfortable, I don`t get tired of eating the same thing. Thanks for comfirming the expiration info about meal deals. I will take into consideration going to Pastamore again. Now it is time for me to go to sleep and dream about express lines, food, rides, and my trip to USF on May.
