Does anybody else have a problem with all your personal information being left on your outside doorhandle over night? I realize this is Disney World and I would like to think the average person staying here is trustworthy, but as recent news suggest...
Anyways, the information left for anybody to view includes - name, reservation no., dates of stay, method of payment, amount of room charge, tel. ph. numbers called, resort id card no., and a few other no's I'm not sure of.
From this information, a little deceptive phone calling, and some internet sleuthing, someone really could reek havoc for an individual.
I'm obviously not advocating this, or have the time or ability to do this myself, but this really is a big concern for me as Disney is opening themselves up for a lawsuit here. Unfortunately, as a government employee, I see this happening all to frequently with less information to begin with.
I know, the obvious reponse from Disney is that we can always check out the old-fashioned way at the front desk, but other hotels at least slide the information under the door or have an express check-out lane on the way out where you insert your room key and it prints out your final statement right there.
If they are going to provide a "convenience" for their guests, I think Disney should rethink how they make it both efficient and safe.
O.k., am I going to get lambasted for my paranoia?
