Our kids will be 9 (60"), 7 (56"), 6 (48") and 3 at our time of travel. We have Disney booked for Feb 6-11th at Poly. The plan was always to do Universal Feb 1-6th (3 park days and some relaxing). We were going to stay club level at Royal pacific, two rooms with the grandparents. Now that we've bought a new home, husband is looking at cutting expenses. He also claims others from his work took kids the same age as ours and said it was more for teenagers. He thinks we should just go a day or two early and do Legoland instead. If we did this option, I'd say we would also go to SeaWorld and/or visit friends in St Pete Beach. Which one would you say would be better for our kids age? If we held off on Orlando it would be at least 2-3 years before returning and more than likely at a busier time as it's getting too hard to take them out of school.

Just my opinion, if you're planning another trip in the next 3 years I would wait. I think Legoland would be fun and definitely cheaper if you're looking to cut expenses. I personally think Universal is more of a "big kid" kind of park.

As much as I love Universal, I think the Legoland, SeaWorld, St. Pete's Beach option is probably the better one right now, considering your children's ages, the cost and the fact that your will be visiting again in a few years.
