Explain This To Me Please.

I wear makeup cuz I like it.
and I don't dye my hair but I've always wanted it a bit darker.
and I the shorts I have are short but they are like the super super super short ones.

And xo juicy splash, I dont wear much makeup and I don't wear short shorts becauseI don't wear short clothing because I go by this "If you're not for sale, don't advertise" I find them too revealing.

Most kids and teenagers wear them these days because it's what's in. They feel the need to follow the rules of ever-changing fashion

i barely wear makeup. I think naturaul looks the best. i only wear foundation to cover zits and stuff. then a little bit of lipgloss.

I do wear short shorts. but not tops. && i usually dont wear short shorts i prefer bermudas.

Ive never died my hair.

I agree. I don't wear makeup because it makes my face feel gross. And it clogs pores. I'll occaisonally put on some mascara, just because it's easy and makes my eyes pop.

I don't wear short clothing, because I don't like revealing myself. For some reason, I've adopted more of a hippie look. (I've been wearing flowy dresses/tunics with jeans and letting my hair down). I'm much more comfortable this way, and it looks better on my body shape.

I prefer bermuda shorts.

But hey, that's just me. If you like makeup and short shorts/skirts, I ain't gonna knock you for it. =)

Um I think that this is either a very sheltered and young guy or a very sheltered and young girl. Dude(tte), they do it to... well, I dunno. Makeup sometimes makes them look better, as does hair dye. As for short clothes... to put it blunty, they wear short clothes for sex appeal. Girls today feel that guys are too stupid to be able to appreciate a girl fro anything but her body, so they wear really short and tight clothes. I can't imagine that clothes like that could be worn for comfort.​

I only wear makeup on my eyes really. Just to make them.. pop? I don't really know. I put lip gloss on once and a while, but I really don't like the way it makes my lips feel heavy.

Short clothes aren't my thing. A short skirt would end up in disaster on me.

And dying my hair? Well, I don't do that either, but some people look better with other hair colors than their natural ones.

I prefer not to wear make up. Just a thin eyeliner to..IDK. I think it just goes with my bangs? But excessive makeup doesn't show the real me and I don't have anything to hide.
Short shorts/skirts are not my thing. Honestly, it sort of..disgusts me.
I do love babydoll dresses with jeans. It's my new thing. ;D
Dying my hair will damage it. One of my friends has a bald spot. She keeps on dying it brown.

Yes, most people I see in the mall are wearing this short shorts and skirts but I just find it...I don't know...revealing, like I said before
I don't think 12 year olds need to be flaunting their "stuff" to get guys attention. Legs are one of those kinds of symbols, mostly the chest area is what gets guys attention these days. I'm also afraid of these younger teens getting hurt by some guy, because some men are total pigs.

Now I'm not saying any of you on here are. If you do, then it doesn't matter, I don't think less of you, I just don't like it.

Well not everybody wears short shorts/skirts because of fashion or to get the attention from guys. I wear them because as I said, I live in Florida and it's always hot down here. They're also more comfy than jeans. But, I do try to wear jeans sometimes because that is what most of my friends wear

When I see a 10,11,12 year old wearing super short shorts that only cover up her butt and a top showing off a chest that she usuallyd oesn't have, and I can see her belly button, it makes me sad. Kids are raised too sexually today, so when the girls start to develop they're struggling with it.

I feel like that too, when I see young girls wearing those short skirts I do wonder why they need to. Also when I was around 11/12 I was reading a lot of trashy celebrity magazines and no doubt that must be persuading "Youngsters". When I was that age though, I think I was more interested in playing my little kiddie games

I really dont want people to get the wrong impression of me. Im a really nice person but this has been bothering me.

Why do girls wear makeup, dye their hair and wear really short clothing?

I wear makeup when I go out with my friends etc, but the only time I ever wear short clothing is when I'm in Florida or in a hot country. Whenever I wear a skirt or shorts in England people stare at me, I don't like 'attention'.

There are plenty of girls at my school at my school that wear makeup to school and I just think WHY?!? We go to an all girls school who on earth do they want to impress?!

Some girls do it because they are fishing for compliments and others do just because it's their style.

FYI Theres no right or wrong with an opinion, for example I disagree with wearing makeup to a single sex school but others might like to wear makeup to girls school. Just thought I'd drag that in..

Oh and just to put it out there I don't wear wear a ton of makeup.

hey i'm 12 going on 13 but i don't even wear stuff like that!
well i only have short shorts but not too short!
i don't like showing my belly. (i'm too skinny)
and my family and friends don't like that stuff!

I wear makeup... when I have time to put it on, or when I'm trying to impress someone. Which isn't very often. I've never dyed my hair, and I'm not even very experimental with different cuts. And I hate short shorts/skirts. The reason being, I don't like to show off my legs. In the summer, if I wear shorts, my legs get eaten by mosquitos. I look MUCH better in long pants.
