Expired Ticket Upgrade

We have tickets that we weren't able to use last year. They expired end of December. I know I can take them to the ticket counter and pay the difference to use them on our next trip (March) however, does anyone know if we lose our Magic Morning doing that? Just working on dining plans.
 
That's an interesting question...from the way others have said, you can apply the value of the expired ticket towards the purchase of new tickets. If you have to do that at the ticket booth, you wouldn't be eligible for Magic Morning anymore because the tickets sold at the ticket booths do not include Magic Morning. Honestly, I would call Disneyland Ticketing ((714) 781-4565) and ask this question (maybe call more than once to make sure you get a consistent answer). I'd be curious to know what they say. I have heard other guests report that they got to keep their MM, but that this was pixie dust on the part of the CM. I would make sure to ask super nicely when you upgrade at the booth. If your CM isn't particularly cooperative, try asking for a lead.
