We just returned from a three-night stay at YC CL (thankfully, availability opened up and we were able to stay put at the YC and didn't need to move over to the Poly for our last night). This was our third time at the YC and our first time staying CL there. We have also stayed CL at the CR, Poly, GF and BW.
All in all, it was a good stay. I do have some minor complaints, but nothing major, and certainly nothing that would preclude us from staying there again (particularly since the YC is one of our favorite resorts.)
First, we received a room with no daybed (we have five people in our family), and CL was fully booked, so we had to deal with a rollaway, which was fine, but I was a little off-put that some other families with four were assigned rooms with daybeds and we were not (it came up in conversation with another family who was at the CM desk for the same reason).
The lounge was nice, and I liked that the drink area is separated from the food area since it cuts down on congestion. The food offerings were about what I expected and pretty standard from what is offered in the other lounges. I do think I'm getting a little tired of CL breakfasts and wish that they would change them up a bit--even a change in fruit from day to day, or maybe having scrambled eggs instead of oatmeal every few days? We stayed at Springhill Suites ($120 night for a walk-in rate) on our way down to Florida, and they serve a complimentary continental breakfast that puts Disney CL offerings to shame. It would also be great if all of the CL lounges had the same coffee machines--the Nespresso espresso/cappuccino machines in the GF/CR lounge far surprises the Nescafe machine in most of the other lounges. I also wasn't too bothered by the CM pouring wine/guarding the beer at night: I was able to get what I wanted, and was happy that the YC had a Pinot Grigio available, which hasn't been something I've been able to get at any of the other CL lounges.
The staff was very nice and attentive, but I wouldn't say they're on the same caliber or as enthusiastic as what we've experienced at the GF or CR. Both of those resorts left special things in our rooms for birthday or anniversary celebrations (balloons, chocolate), and we were celebrating both a birthday and our anniversary with no fanfare or any extra special touches from them. Come to think of it, we didn't even get the first-night box of chocolate (or the special champagne that I've heard the YC provides upon check in) that we've gotten at all other CL resorts. And as a side note, we also didn't get our toiletries replenished by our maid (we had to ask for them), which was weird as that has never happened in all of the nights we've spent at Disney (CL or not).
Again, we did have a very enjoyable trip and all of the staff members were very kind and pleasant to deal with; however, the YC CL just didn't really go above and beyond like some of the other CL staff that we've dealt with in the past.
