Hi! Hope it's okay to post this here

I've never stayed CL at Disney (only one night ever as a teenager with my parents) and we have WL CL in our budget by some miracle. We will only be there 2 nights and 2 days as a mini birthday weekend trip for me I'm tempted to upgrade to CL because this might be my only chance (and if you can't treat yourself on your birthday when can you?)! We aren't staying long, but I figured when we arrive Friday night we could hang out there for drinks and snacks before bed and grab breakfasts there in the mornings in an atmosphere more conducive to waking up than a QS area and maybe spend time there in the evenings when we get back from the parks to wind down before bed.

I can't decide if it's a good use of CL for only two days or not! I don't need the concierge services (I don't think) and we're arriving to WDW at like 9pm so early check in means nothing to us. When we check out Sunday are we able to use the club all day? Or is it over after checkout? Thanks!

If we have a tea at 2, and ME pickup is 5 at the Poly, you think we are ok?

If you either check your suitcases before 1pm with ME or have them stored with bell services before you head over you should be fine. Dd and I have eaten there a few times are going there 6/2! It takes an hour or so to eat there. You can walk back in 5 minutes just in case you eat v e r y S l o w l y.

You should have plenty of time to take the boat back too ( my fav)or even a last loop of the monorail.

Sounds like a great finale for your trip, enjoy

Yes we are going to have our luggage checked in and hit MK in the morning then tea at 2. Thanks for the hint about the walk only being 5 minutes.

I think CL would be a great way to celebrate a short birthday trip. With that said, we don't stay CL every trip, but when we do, it's great to have the lounge for someplace to go to relax other than in the room or around the resort. The lounge is available to you until midnight of your check out day, so yes, you can use the lounge after you check out .

Checked in yesterday evening to WL OFC, now I know why people love it here. CMs are the friendliest, the resort is gorgeous and OFC has a wonderfully relaxing and comfortable feel.

Have a room towards the end of a hallway overlooking the courtyard, love it here

Another one bites the dust!!!!! You will love it, and by next year all the refurbishments should be done so the rooms will be nice and fresh!

Are the photos on your iPad or a separate camera? I actually have an adapter for my iPad that allows me to plug my SD card directly in. It's very handy. You might like that for next time.

An earlier flight? I love it! What a great way to start the summer! Now that I have this return-to-WL bug, I started looking at AP rates for the week our boys are finished with school. Would love to book for the last SWW, but availability is slim and the boys have a lot of stuff going on that weekend that they would miss for Disney, but shouldn't. When we do SWW, I'll need to book far enough in advance that all the fun stuff (breakfast at Sci Fi, Feel the Force pkg) is still available. Looking at other summer dates, and if it doesn't work out, I have a plan to add WL CL to the beginning of our GF/BWI stay in January.

An earlier flight? I love it! What a great way to start the summer! Now that I have this return-to-WL bug, I started looking at AP rates for the week our boys are finished with school. Would love to book for the last SWW, but availability is slim and the boys have a lot of stuff going on that weekend that they would miss for Disney, but shouldn't. When we do SWW, I'll need to book far enough in advance that all the fun stuff (breakfast at Sci Fi, Feel the Force pkg) is still available. Looking at other summer dates, and if it doesn't work out, I have a plan to add WL CL to the beginning of our GF/BWI stay in January.

I've done a so/so job planning SWW this year. I did get the Sci-fi and H&V themed SW meals, and I managed one fastpass for one of the shows. But didn't get the Mark Hamill one, all FPs were gone. I struck out with Feel the Force also, it was booked solid. We will still have fun. Last year we didn't have any SWW plans and just winged it. Boys had a blast!

Typical ADRs? Do you do TS lunch and/or dinner? Usually in the lounge for apps, etc.?

Trying to plan out how to capitalize on the CL offerings...otherwise I'd book a regular courtyard view room...

We do breakfast in the lounge, QS lunch in the parks, afternoon snack in lounge, then in the evening we lightly hit the lounge at 5:00 and try not to ruin our dinner. I make most of our dinner ADRs for about 7:00 or 7:30 PM. I never do 2 sitdowns in one day.
