EXPIRED: Part ONE of 2015 CLUB LEVEL (CL) INFORMATION and HELP Thread DO NOT POST HERE!!!

Thanks mickeynut1 !

You're welcome :).

Thanks so much for all the feedback regarding CL for our girls' weekend! Right now, the only CL available with a discount is the garden suite - which is over double our current rate. I'm sure I'll keep checking back, but if CL doesn't work out for this trip, I love BlueSkies' recommendations!

I think you'll have a great trip either way :goodvibes. I'd stick with non-CL, too, if the only other option was a garden suite for double the cost, especially since the garden suites (from what I understand) aren't very convenient to the lounge.

I did it! I switched! BC CL LV!!!! :faint: Saved myself over a thousand bucks.

Why are these decisions so hard???

I feel good about it. The kids will have a real bed instead of the sleeper sofa they would have had at the RPC. SAB is great for July heat. We have several dinner ADRs in Epcot. I think it was the right choice. I want to rebook the GF for Christmas! :goodvibes
What are your trip dates? That is the room level I am staying in, in September. I can't wait to read your reviews!

I am staying the same view/level I will be at in 60 days..

Can't wait.. We loved our BC SV last weekend (5708 ) but look forward to a lagoon view

I never cared about the view until I got upgraded last year and fell in love. :lovestruc I didn't think it would be worth the money since it doesn't overlook a park, but I love love LOVE seeing SAB and the lake. :cloud9:

We had the SAB/lake view last year. It is pretty great. Could see fireworks every night from our room. Hoping to get it again this year. We will miss you by 2 days. Maybe we'll get the room and hand it off to you!

I made two requests, full balcony and close to lounge. Last year we were way down at the end of the hall.

We had 5707. I told IPO we'd love a room in that block-she was happy to list the rooms in that area for me. Fingers are crossed! It had a full balcony but no daybed. Room was connecting though, so the roll away fit perfectly there (DD & DS were 20 & 18 so no bed sharing!) LOVED that room!

Luckily my boys can share if needed. Even though they hate it. ;) :D

Good morning! :) I just went through the guest list on page 1 to remove those who have already completed travel. If anyone has an upcoming club level stay and wants to be added to the guest list please let me know. You can post here in the thread or send me a private message.

Also thought I would mention, the new Boathouse restaurant in Downtown Disney will begin accepting reservations May 15th. It is to be added to the online Disney dining reservation system. I'm planning to make a reservation for July. I can't wait to try it! :D

Sorry Erika, I've changed again. Am now at AKL CL 15-22 November. I've never stayed before but wanted to try somewhere different, sitting on the balcony overlooking the Savannah really appeals. I know there's been some not so good reviews but as I'm on the dxdp and not relying on the lounge I think it'll be fine.

I had so much fun watching the animals on our last trip. I was in need of relaxation and the savannah really gave me that. :)

Regarding bottled water, as this has come up again recently. The subject goes back and forth.

We've stayed at all CL's. Only one has ever given us bottled water, CR. But before they did, they denied they have ever had it. Then they gave us water, then they went back to telling us they've never had it when we politely asked if they had any.

The CL's have gone back and forth on other subjects as well, like the texting service we tried last summer at CR. This Jan, AKL told us it didn't exist, even though this thread reported more resorts were offering it. We've never been rude or demanding, we just ask politely.

It's just odd. I get that some CM's are not as experienced as others, but the denial aspect it odd. It's like they are telling us our memory is faulty. Maybe next time a CL CM gives us bottled water I should take a picture.

If it matters, last summer, US's Portofino CL had plenty of bottled water. We didn't even have to ask a CM to get it for us.

I made two requests, full balcony and close to lounge. Last year we were way down at the end of the hall.
Last year, we were right by the lounge, which was very convenient, but I woke up every morning to the sound of lounge staff and early risers talking loudly! This year, my only request is QUIET! No service elevators nearby and not too close to the lounge. If you're an early riser, the noise may not bother you, but I thought I'd mention it. I'd rather walk a bit further to the lounge.

I think I need help...

Trip in August with the family (CR CL and Poly CL)...set. Booked BC GV CL for DH & I in October for our 30th anniversary, thought I was set but he and I keep going back and forth on whether keeping CL for just the two of us will be worth the extra $$ this time around. He's starting to lean more towards the no and thinks we should drop it and use the savings on more of a variety of apps, especially at F&W booths. When it's just the two of us, we tend to "wing it"...no planned ADR's with the exception of V&A's this trip which will be a huge splurge but that's where we'll celebrate our anniversary.

So what's the Dilemma?? There are absolutely no non-CL rooms available at either BC or YC with our discount. We could move over to a standard vw room at the Boardwalk Inn but I'm just not sure. That resort looks HUGE and I'm nervous about where we could end up, plus not going to lie, the clown pool freaks me out just a smidge :sad2:.

What to do, what to do.....

We bring two high velocity fans with us, we couldn't hear a dump truck driving through a nitroglycerin plant :D :P
