EXPIRED: Part ONE of 2015 CLUB LEVEL (CL) INFORMATION and HELP Thread DO NOT POST HERE!!!

I have noticed that some CL guests make their room requests through IPO instead of the regular reservation line. I have already registered my requests with CRO, is there any advantage to also contacting my IPO? I'm at the GF, split stay SL/RPC in late September.

Thanks for any input!

I always do both. IPO and CRO. I don't think it could hurt to cover both bases, and lately I've also been experimenting with online check-in. I never thought it was necessary for CL stays but our last two trips we've had PERFECT rooms that we loved by doing online check-in. :goodvibes

Your right, just heard back and they took down my room requests! No luck on BOG seating, but figured it would be worth a try!!!!

Check with IPO about the BOG cancellation list. AKL CL staff was able to secure us a BOG ADR last March by putting us on their call list to keep checking! :goodvibes

Have them keep checking as people do cancel and something might open up :).

There seems to be an abundance of lazy elitists at RPC this week. They believe that once they bring their food and beverages to their tables and are finished that they expect the hard working CMs (who already have enough to do as they bring out the food, beverages, cups, glasses, napkins, untensils, bowls, ice, etc.) to clean up after them.

I have seen this alot as well :sad2:.

When we stayed at WL CL the CMs told us to just leave our plates/cups on the tables and they would clean it up. That was really unnerving to me so I ended up cleaning up after ourselves anyway, but I did see others leaving behind their trash and I figured it's because the CMs told them to.

I am the same way. I would have to find somewhere to put my dirty dishes, even if a CM told me to leave them on the table.

Today we saw some positive efforts. A family had its youngest members bring back their plates and glasses. In another example, a woman with a special dietary needs child got on her hands and knees to pick up a few crumbs. She had more than enough to handle than to pick up crumbs but she was responsible, courteous and displayed a sense of deportment that was rare.

I'm sure that was nice to see as there are alot of people who just walk away :(

It wouldn't hurt to have your requests noted in both places, so I would email IPO as well.

As we once again bid farewell to the GFR's RPC CMs, we wish to acknowledge the extraordinary service provided the following individuals who set up and organize the food and beverages at five different setups during the day: Abdul, Gayle, Loretta, Marie and Patty! :cheer2:

All the best to five superb WDW CMs! :thumbsup2

I just booked one night CR atrium CL theme park view which is a first for us. I booked 3 nights before using points at BLT and the 4th wasn't available. So if we were going to have to pack up and move, I figured we might as well give it a try. Paid $620 incl tax with a passholder discount. Getting excited as we will be there in less than 1 week!!

RPC has some of the best CMs :goodvibes.

Have a great trip :wizard:.

We are staying at the AK CL in Oct for the first time. Thank you for the great pics and info!!

I have a question....
I'm here now at the wl club level. It's amazing and we love it! I have seen 3 families all with 5 people to a room. Not a deluxe
Room, not a suite, but a regular room. Are there day beds at the wl club level? These were the standard mom, dad & 3 kids family... I thought it was 4'per room? How are they able to do 5?

We've just returned from our first stay at CL in the CR. We've stayed MK view before but decided to try this and we're hooked! We loved the breakfast offerings which were just enough to set us up for the day and although we didn't really make much use of the lounge during the day, the odd cold soft drink was very welcome.

Absolutely loved the appetisers and met some lovely people during this time. The CMs constantly refilled the dishes and nothing was too much trouble for them. If we were in a hurry for a dinner reservation my DH would bring a glass of chilled wine back to the room as I was getting ready - bliss!

We only ventured into the lounge once for liquors as we were usually out and about but there was a great choice. All in all we had a fabulous stay and will be back. We've got a Christmas stay booked at the BWV using our DVC points but are thinking of the CR for next summer. My son and I would like to try WL CL although a friend has recommended Sugar Loaf. We have stayed at the GF but in a standard room and loved it so plenty of time to think about it.

Thanks for all the info on here which I read before our trip.

Congrats on booking your first CL stay :wizard:. We love AKL and although we haven't tried CL yet, it is on our list to try as I am always reading nothing but great things about it ;).

WL rooms do not have daybeds and the occupancy limit is 4 + 1 under the age of the 3 (same as AKL). A family of 5 can stay at WL (or AKL) in a standard room if there is a child under the age of 3 :).

Thanks for your review. I'm glad you had a great time and enjoyed CR CL. We've never stayed at the CR, but are hoping to try it (along with CL) next spring :goodvibes.

WL CL is amazing and is worth a try, IMO :thumbsup2. I didn't care for GF SL, but wouldn't hesitate to return to WL CL.

Just like mickeynut said you can have 5 people if the 3rd child is under 3. Otherwise you can only get the deluxe room that sleeps up to six people.

Hi!

We just booked a CR--Atrium Club Level Standard Room!!! :cool1: Wondering if we should request anything specific? 18 DAYS!!!!

Thanks!!

We just returned from a wonderful stay at the GFR's main building. Before we left, we made sure we once again generously "thanked" all those CMs, especially those food & beverage servers and housekeeping staffers, who made our visit enjoyable.

All the best. :thumbsup2

I've brought this up a couple times but really have not found any answer to this, hopefully someone on this post can help.. Does anyone have any experience getting access to Club Level when they are not actually staying on Club Level? I've literately received every answer you could think of to this question every time I've asked it so at this point I've got no clue what to expect when I get to the resort. For anyone who hasn't caught my other posts on our upcoming trip, we'll be staying in the grand villa at AKL for 10 days as non-DVC.

Your question is not off-base. Universal hotels do indeed allow guests to add club level access to some rooms. As far as I know, Disney does not.

I poked around...club level access is not part of the grand villa rooms. There are some villas (1 and 2 bedroom) which can be bought as Club level- if they are in Jambo House.

You can always try asking. The way I would suggest is offering to pay for CL access. The worst they will do is tell you it can't be added.

This might seem like a silly question…Have any of you ever gone to the lounge in your PJ pants?

I'm not a big morning person…..Although in Disney I'm always ready in a jiffy!

I know coffee is available at 6:30, and it pains me to think I'll need to get fully ready just to go get a cup of joe in the early am……I usually have it while I'm getting showered & ready for the day. Just wondering if I'll get weird looks if I go get coffee in my hello kitty pj pants….I'm not into using the room coffee either, I want it fresh & hot - Thanks!

Yes people do this. I some resorts more than others. They also put the bathrobes over their clothes.

I sort of do it, but nobody can tell, because I sleep in a tank top and what passes for shorts. I often wake up first, so I try to minimize how much noise I make before I leave the room. With the new wristbands, my morning trips are even easier- I'm already wearing my room key! I have witnessed plenty of guests roaming about though in what are clearly PJ's, with what is clearly bed head hair. :goodvibes

Simple push button lattes are one of the biggest pluses of CL!

There's not much, IMO, to request. Unless perhaps you have a severe allergy of some type. All the rooms have balconies, and all are on the same floor.

When we stay CR CL, we always prefer Standard view. We love having a prime view of the water parade!
