EXPIRED: Part ONE of 2015 CLUB LEVEL (CL) INFORMATION and HELP Thread DO NOT POST HERE!!!

Does the Animal Kingdom Lodge do anything special on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day? I've read that the Wilderness Lodge has carolers on Christmas Eve and I think it was the Boardwalk Inn that had Santa Claus? But I've only read these things in random places, I'm not sure if any of this is true. :)

I've never been on property for Christmas Eve but I've heard Santa visits many of the resorts, seems like it was 5:00-9:00 PM. Years ago they use to have a character caravan that visited several deluxe resorts on Christmas Eve, but I don't think it happens anymore. Hopefully someone else can offer more help.

Now that my kids are teenagers we are debating Christmas in WDW. I feel like I would need a villa so we could still have homemade cookies and breakfast casserole LOL :lmao: But actually I would love to be totally off the hook for all the normal cooking and work. :scratchin :thumbsup2

My kids are older and the last two years we have done the week after Christmas, into NYE. Busy but fun.

That's what we usually do. Typically we fly down 12/26 or so. But I would love to leave earlier this year, like 12/19! :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Just signing off here!
We check in to BC tomorrow morning, and then on Sunday, check in for a week of CL at YC! I will try to update here, and will take lots of pictures!

We were at AKL for Christmas 3 years ago! They did have carolers both days, in the lobby and walking along the hallways. There was Santa Goofy, Mickey and Minnie in holiday outfits available for photos in front of the Christmas tree. I cant remember what else they had. have a great time!

;) Someone hacked it up and removed my photos and links to my pinterest and twitter but I guess those were all violations or something. Oh well, live and learn! At least I'm back! :D

Yeah so glad to see you back on here : ) I hope your vacation was amazing and I'd love a link to your travel report if your doing one? Again welcome back!!!!!

Sounds so amazing I would love to go during Christmas as well ... We are getting close to being able to do it with most of our grandkids getting old enough to be okay with it. Shoot who I'm I kidding it's hard to think about not making the breakfast casserole and other traditions at home, but like previous posts have said it might be nice to be off the hook from cooking.

What special things did you notice at CL during Christmas Eve and Day? Anything that is extra special for Christmas?

I would love to share the link to my live report but I'm afraid I might get in trouble again. I'm being ultra careful not to post links to anything.

Thanks for answering my questions. Carolers in the lobby and hallways and characters in Christmas attire for photo ops sounds amazing. I hope they're still doing that next year (or whichever year we go if finances don't work out :rotfl2:).

I was so inspired by this conversation I called last night and booked WL CL for eight nights over Christmas. :santa: I was able to get the AP rate every night except the 24th and 25th. Those were rack rate of course. The price made me feel a little dizzy! LOL :faint:
It has been my DREAM for years to be on property for Christmas Day!!! :santa:

I'll also be at YC CL starting this Sunday 8/17. Can't wait!! :cool1: I'll finally have to figure out how to post pics onto this forum. (It's about time!) ;)

That's awesome!! Congrats! It's also been my dream to be at Disney during the holidays. One of these times I'll do it! I'm thinking WL CL would be perfect. :thumbsup2

Does anyone know if they pipe in the HalloWishes music at the Contemporary Atrium Club level lounge? I called them yesterday and they said they didn't know. They pipe in the regular wishes but nobody knows about party nights.

Hoping someone has some first hand experience. Thank you! :)

I've got someone who will know. Let me ask! :)
