Thanks
We had a great trip!

Does the Animal Kingdom Lodge do anything special on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day? I've read that the Wilderness Lodge has carolers on Christmas Eve and I think it was the Boardwalk Inn that had Santa Claus? But I've only read these things in random places, I'm not sure if any of this is true.![]()
Now that my kids are teenagers we are debating Christmas in WDW. I feel like I would need a villa so we could still have homemade cookies and breakfast casserole LOLBut actually I would love to be totally off the hook for all the normal cooking and work.

My kids are older and the last two years we have done the week after Christmas, into NYE. Busy but fun.
Just signing off here!
We check in to BC tomorrow morning, and then on Sunday, check in for a week of CL at YC! I will try to update here, and will take lots of pictures!

Someone hacked it up and removed my photos and links to my pinterest and twitter but I guess those were all violations or something. Oh well, live and learn! At least I'm back!

We were at AKL for Christmas 3 years ago! They did have carolers both days, in the lobby and walking along the hallways. There was Santa Goofy, Mickey and Minnie in holiday outfits available for photos in front of the Christmas tree. I cant remember what else they had. have a great time!
Yeah so glad to see you back on here : ) I hope your vacation was amazing and I'd love a link to your travel report if your doing one? Again welcome back!!!!!
I would love to share the link to my live report but I'm afraid I might get in trouble again. I'm being ultra careful not to post links to anything.
I've never been on property for Christmas Eve but I've heard Santa visits many of the resorts, seems like it was 5:00-9:00 PM. Years ago they use to have a character caravan that visited several deluxe resorts on Christmas Eve, but I don't think it happens anymore. Hopefully someone else can offer more help.

Thanks for answering my questions. Carolers in the lobby and hallways and characters in Christmas attire for photo ops sounds amazing. I hope they're still doing that next year (or whichever year we go if finances don't work out).
We'll be arriving BC CL tomorrow morning!!!
I'll be sure to get pics of the temporary lounge!![]()
I was so inspired by this conversation I called last night and booked WL CL for eight nights over Christmas.I was able to get the AP rate every night except the 24th and 25th. Those were rack rate of course. The price made me feel a little dizzy! LOL

Does anyone know if they pipe in the HalloWishes music at the Contemporary Atrium Club level lounge? I called them yesterday and they said they didn't know. They pipe in the regular wishes but nobody knows about party nights. Hoping someone has some first hand experience. Thank you!![]()
