EXPIRED 12/10 -Another $10 GC w/$50 Purchase Coupon @Target!

I was able to use it today to purchase Target giftcards as well as various other gift cards. I was also able to use more than one coupon per transaction.

I didn't have any issues today and I went to two different Targets here. I went to the first one as they had a better selection of the Lego's in stock and I thought I better take advantage of the buy one get one 50% *and* get the $10 Target coupon. Funny - I ended up at $51.00 after tax for four lego sets and had to grab something to put me $3.00 higher so the cashier suggested a Target gift card I put $10 on it and I can use that for me later or another present. I then asked if I could ring up the other gift cards (Disney and Starbucks) separately and she had no problems with it. Scored 2 $10 freebies and headed to my usual Target since I had to do REAL shopping I found great Disney Princess buy one get one 50% off for my niece so I got those and some grocery items and I should have paid attention. It ended up being $71.00 and I had just gotten the catalina for the $8 off an $80 purchase so had I planned it or thought more clearly, I would have thrown something else in there (even a small gift card) to take advantage of the extra $8 off. Oh well - I'm not disappointed and very grateful for the extra gift cards! This cashier also let me ring up a $50 Disney gift card separately so I got another $10 Target gift card. Not bad - $40 free in one day.

Not so funny story - my husband had the worst ever experience at our third Target store. He called me and said, "you would have died if this happened to you". Uh oh... He went to this Target on his way to his hockey game and went to the electronics section to get the $50 DIsney gift card. We have never done more than two transactions since technically we are supposed to do one only and I just don't want to push it - if you know what I mean. He rang up the first one and asked politely if he could ring up another one. The cashier dude said, "no - the coupon states only one per customer". He explained he had just done this last week and had no issues and then said thanks. He decided he'd grab one on the way out at the front cashiers (I would have been too chicken at this point). How about the guy in electronics FOLLOWED him to the front of the store and met up with my DH as he was getting in line and told the female cashier, "he was just in the electronics section and already used his coupon" and then he was talking on the walkie talkie about my DH!! OMG - I would have died and I think it's a little overkill especially when my DH only had TWO to begin with and I promise I'm not judging - there are tons of people bringing in 25 of these coupons and getting Target gift cards, recycling them for Kindle or other gifts cards, etc.

I did feel really bad for him but we just agreed - that's why we don't like that Target!!

I had also read on slick deals the rumor about Target putting a sign out advising only one per person and telling the cashiers about this however that was completely untrue here. It feels like that was just someone being funny on slick deals but who knows...

Now I'm thinking I need to use my last two from my DH with the $8 off $80 and maximize my last coupons... I guess I can do as another poster mentioned - get $75 in gift cards and a few others items!!

Oh my, how ridiculous! The guy thinks he's saving the company $10 but he actually lost them $50 plus! Heck, you have to spend the $10 there and chances are you will spend much more which I think is the whole point of the promotion. Not to mention he could have lost a customer over it.

Those print out with your recipt after a transaction. Not sure what triggers it but the three I've gotten were after buying giftcards.

yep I did today. They have a package of 4, $15 gc;$60 total on sale for $54. I used the $10 gc from another purchase and got the $60 itunes gc for $44

Oh and I also used the coupon because I bought some other stuff to get my total to $50 and got another 10 target gc.

I know - funny, in a way. We give Target a bunch of our funds since we buy most groceries, toiletries, etc there. Dude - chill out! I haven't even rolled the free $10 back into my next $50 gift card purchases and planned to use them on future Target trips so yes, they will definitely get more of my $$!

My understanding is yes, you can. What I've done in the past is apply the gift card to our account (charging privileges linked to credit card on the KTTW card) at the front desk of our resort that way I'm not worried about keeping up with the gift card/s and/or losing them.

Is your printer plugged in and connected? Because it prints the coupon directly, no "print box."
What browser are you using? I was having a different issue with google chrome.

You need to go back to the page with the coupon on it where you started and select it and click print. I printed several and it doesn't print when it says it will. Just go back to the original page.

That's wonderful! And great advice about tying them to our room! My daughter lost her gift card on our last trip down and she was devastated.

I just purchased two $25 disney gift cards, and used the coupon with no problem!

It wouldn't print with Google Chrome.. I had to print it in Internet Explorer.

I did go to Target just now to get a few things - of course ended up spending over $50 and didn't have the coupon. I went to the front desk and they couldn't help me, just told me to call some main number. The lady behind me said she had the same problem and just gave up!

I doubt it. Usually it has to be a new gift card they scan and it automatically puts $10 (or whatever) on it. It's programmed it the register (and I don't think they can change it).

It worked!! I switched from Chrome to Firefox and was able to print out the coupons - thank you guys! You just saved me about $40!!

Where the other gift cards are located, usually back in the movies/electronic section. Look for them on the end of an aisle....with other restaurant gift cards, and I-Tunes.

My Target didn't start carrying Disney Gift Cards until a month ago. So keep an eye out, even if you don't see them now maybe your store will carry them soon.
