Jokingly when I read that masks were going optional, I said hey we could go back after the race! Of course his response was that we'd never get a spot this soon. Of course I got online and found that we could get a full hook up site for 5 nights! Could we fit? 38 foot 5th wheel. We were in 1300 loop last week. Got into our spot no problem and of course fit just fine. I'm sure this is a 100 to 1 shot we would do it, as last night we booked a few nights in Charlotte on our way home, but just in case...

The full hook up sites sizes vary, but they have some that are huge. If you put down your length, and make sure you get there a bit early and ask them at check in , it shouldnt be a problem. The full hook ups are a bit further from the action, but it was nice and peaceful when I was there.

I had 1808 a few years back, site was huge , and backed up to nature. Some back up to the channel. I think most of the sites are 50 feet. And the was plenty of room to stagger the tv. Ill look for a pic. My xamper is small, and i didnt use the whole site.

Its hard to tell but I coyld have backed up more, where I was was because of my hook ups. And I didn't need the room.

Congrats on grabbing another 5 days.

We were just in a Full site (1624) the middle 2 weeks of January. The MH is 42 ft. The car is another 16. We had plenty of room.

1600, 1700, 1800 would almost all work. 1900 and 2100 might have a couple sites that would work but its pretty tight in most of them.

Thanks so much for all your help! We have decided not to head back. Instead we are going to stop off in Charlotte for a few days. I'm pretty sure once we finally return home, we will look at dates for Jan/Feb 2024 and make a reservation as soon as we can. I'll also post some pics and thoughts about our trip.
