Has anyone used this company? I decided to book a car roundtrip to take my partner and I from MCO to Universal. I liked that there were no hidden or add on fees with his company. After booking the car, though, my arriving flight got tweaked a little. so I called them to let them know. They made changes to my reservation no problem, but I learned in speaking to them on the phone that there is no guarantee the driver will meet us inside the airport. The driver may just wait outside. The person on the phone said its at the discretion of the driver. I found that odd. any other time I have hired a car service, the driver has met me in the airport.

So does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with this company they can share. I am trying to know what to expect. Thanks

It's been to long to really give a qualified review, but I have times where I'm instructed where to meet the driver outside - with COVID it all makes sense to give them a say. I would say based on the times we've used them I wouldn't hesitate to call them and use them again.

I haven't used that company specifically, but I was the transportation coordinator for a large comic convention held in Orlando. I booked hundreds of cars through multiple companies and every single time they met the guest at the bottom of the escalator where they were supposed to. Sometimes they cut it super close timewise because there is limited parking where they are allowed to park and they have to circle/wait for a spot to open up. I wonder if this is why they said that. If the driver can't find a spot maybe their policy is to just do a curbside pick up? One tip I have is to contact the company on the day of travel and ask for the drivers name and phone number. Many companies reach out to provide it, but in case they don't this gives you a way to contact them if you can't find them on the baggage claim level.

Thanks. I completely understand if something happens with parking or traffic delays or other things outside the driver's control. But the rep just telling me that its the driver's discretion seemed odd. In any event, I am hopeful they will meet us inside. I believe the company is going to text me the driver details the day of the pickup. I guess I am just old and still look for a driver holding a sign with my name on it lol

If you want, or require, meet n great book that service. Use a different company if Tiffany won't assign a driver prepared to offer that service.

Hi! We have used Tiffany 2 or 3 times a year for years. We used them last month & are using them for the trip we are on right now. They are excellent & very reliable. Until Covid, they always met us at the bottom of the escalator. They send a confirmation text the day before with the drivers name & picture. Last month, our confirmation said the driver would meet us outside luggage pick up. We were surprised he was actually inside at the usual place.

We arrived Thursday morning for our current vacation. Our confirmation again said the driver would meet us outside baggage claim. Minutes after we got off the plane, the driver texted us & asked if we had any checked luggage. He told us what carousel our luggage would be at & asked me to text him when we had all our bags. When I did he told us where to wait outside (the ride service pick up) & he pulled up within minutes. We walked only a few yards with our bags..... got them off the carousel & out the door. The driver pulled up & loaded everything into the car. We didn’t have to go up or down to another floor, just right out the door.

I believe this is more Covid restrictions than driver related. Pre Covid, there were always a lot of drivers waiting before the luggage pick up. In March, our driver was the only one there. I didn’t notice any drivers waiting when we got here Thursday. Pre covid, our drivers parked in a special area inside the building. In March, our driver was parked across the street from where the buses are, in a small area outside the parking garage. This happened once before, many years ago when there were heightened security concerns. It’s possible that special parking area is closed & the drivers may have to adjust depending on available parking spots.

We are very happy with Tiffany. The drivers are friendly, professional & safe. The cars are exceptionally clean. We used other car services years ago & Tiffany cars have always been the best kept. On departure, the drivers are usually 10-15 minutes early. We never worry that they won’t show up or will be late. And as you already saw, they are very accommodating if you need to make changes. About 5 years ago we had our evening flight home cancelled morning of due to weather issues. I scrambled to change airlines. Our time changed by several hours. Tiffany was great about changing our pick up at the last minute. Really, I can’t recommend them enough.

Thanks! That is the kind of detailed info I was looking for. Feeling much more comfortable with my choice now

I’ve used Tiffany for the past 6 years about 5 trips. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them for my trip in June. Never an issue alway on time. Be sure to let them know if you want to make a stop at Publix or a drug store for water or snacks. It’s not extra but just need to let them know.

I am thinking of booking Tiffany for our next trip to avoid the airport ME lines, and also to get the grocery stop. We always used them pre-ME and were happy with the service. Not sure if we want one-way or round trip.

How soon does Tiffany pick you up at your resort before your departing flight?

Their standard is 2 hours. You can always tell them a different time if you prefer a different pick up time. We always prefer to be at the airport early, so I tell them a different time. Ex: our flight yesterday was at 12:05 pm. I told them it was at 11:45, so we got picked up at 9:45, instead of 10:05.

This is correct. When I booked with them this week they said pckup is two hours before our flight. But unlike ME, they didn't ask for a flight number. So I just told them a flight time that would result in the pickup time I wanted

Thank you! That is very helpful! Sounds like this would be a good way to reduce some stress for my parents, who are in their 80s.

good to hear good experiences -- we've booked them for our trip at the end of May, since we're staying at the Swan. First time not using DME! :)

We also always used Tiffany before Magical Express and I just book with them again for our upcoming trip in two weeks. I think it will be worth the money.

Have used them for at least 10 years, just used them in April of this year. Never a problem, highly recommend. And they met us at the bottom of the escalator in April of 2021 and I didn't request it, just assumed.

I have never used them, so this is NOT a knock on their quality - we were going to use them in a couple weeks, and were told for the allowed grocery stop, they only stop at the Publix by Universal Studios. We are ordering from Walmart, so it does not work for us, and if you are planning to use them and need a grocery stop, know that they only stop at Publix.

Free grocery stops, not just Tiffany, are generally offered at Publix 5350 Central Florida Pkwy, Orlando, FL. Its closer to Sea World then Universal.
That store is picked because it doesn't add much driving time and customers can get their shopping done in 20 minutes. Some Walmart, some times of day, you can be waiting to check out for almost 20 minutes.
The Publix store has enough choices and the prices seem OK.

You can ask when you book. Maybe if you have curbside reserved. Even then traffic and distance off route may mean no free stop.

Car service typically bills airport runs point to point otherwise time based charges. Im sure a customer willing to pay an hourly fee can stop wherever they want. Any cost savings via shopping at Walmart will be more then offset by the cost.

Really, I can’t recommend them enough.

We've used Tiffany for years (started using them in 2002) and this has always been our experience as well. Our last trip with them was Dec 2019 and we are using them for our upcoming Universal trip in a few weeks. Like the above poster, I can't recommend them enough! I don't even price out other services as Tiffany is our go to car service.

I do this as well as getting picked up 2 hours prior to our flight is a little too close for me.
