I'm wondering how successful others have been with walk-up seating at TRex and Yai & Yeti using the Landry's card.

Seated nearly immediately at noon on a Tuesday in May at Trex. The table was ready in the amount of time it took us to park the stroller.

About a 10 minute wait for a party of 7, behind two other families doing the same with their Landry's card, at 7pm or so at T-Rex. No idea what day of the week, sorry!

No wait at all, solo (seated at a table for 2), at Yak & Yeti around 1pm on a weekday in April.

When packing for WDW, we discovered we had lost our Landry's Card. No time to get a replacement mailed to us. I made an ADR for our meal. We showed up 1 hr early on Sunday, Aug 13 (they were super busy and turning ppl without reservations away) and I showed them my account online. No problems getting seated or using our account to redeem our $25 birthday credit.

At the end of our trip Sunday, Aug 27), we decided to go to Y&Y with our group of 7 at the last minute. Arrived 6:45pm with no ADR and showed our online account. Was advised we might have to wait up to 30 mins because of the large group. We were seated at 7pm.

LOVE Y&Y...new favourite for us.

From all I can tell, it has been getting increasingly popular and it's no longer easy to get an ADR (I had a tough time getting the Sunday, Aug 13 ADR and I was trying the night before for just 4 ppl. I ended up with a time I wasn't crazy about but booked it anyway).

We've used ours nearly 10 times combined at both restaurants. Put right into the line to be seated. Saying that, Ive also called them directly to put a formal reservation on the books, Ive always been given the time I wanted. Love the Landrys club card.

NEver done TRex, but it works like a charm at Yak n Yeti. Every time we've used it we were seated with 5-10 minutes. Definitely worth having!

Walked up to Rainforest in AK during a torrential rainstorm in late August 2016. Huge line of people trying to get out of the rain. Walked up, showed the card and were seated within 5 minutes. Mid-December of 2016 (if I recall, December 18 or so), crowded day at AK, walked in to Y&Y with a big crowd waiting. Showed the card and, again, were seated within 5 minutes. We were also thanked by our server for being Landry's members! I feel like I'm treated like royalty when I flash that card!

5 or so times to the Landry's places at WDW, less than 5 minute wait each time.
It is great!!

My mother has a Landry's card, and on a trip together she used it to get us seats at Rainforest Cafe (both Disney Springs and Animal Kingdom) and at the Trex Cafe. Staff puts you ahead of other people in line and you get seated within about ten minutes. The Trex cafe it came in real handy, because there was a three hour wait for walk up seating that day, and no ADRs available through Disney! Also, on the same trip we used the card to get immediate seating at the Bubba Gump's in Universal. At the time we didn't know Yak and Yeti was a Landry owned restaurant, or we probably would have used the card there as well!

Been a Landry's member for several years now and I've never had problem being seated quickly (within 5 minutes) at any of their restaurants at Disney or Universal until this year at Yak & Yeti.

Maybe it was bad timing on our part or maybe because more people are unfortunately finding out about the advantages of being a member now but there was 8 different groups in front of us when we got to Yak & Yeti and every single one of them were Landry's members. It took us nearly 25 minutes to be seated, which we were obviously less than thrilled about as we were hungry but that's the only bad experience we've had with it so far.

Easy peasy! They make you feel like a VIP.

If you're going to Y&Y, I recommend the dragon roll appetizer. Very, very tasty.

Just used the card at TRex this past August- they put us at the next available table

According to their website, this only applies to groups of 6 or less. We will be a party of 9 with a one being an infant. Any success with a larger group?

I was wondering the same thing as we'll be a group of 10 next time.

Thanks for the info! We just signed up for the card purely for this benefit (and the birthday money), and i'm glad to hear it works well!

We've always been seated within 5-10 minutes at Rainforest, TRex, and Yak and Yeti. The manager also always comes over to check on us toward the end of our meal and thank us for being members. Definitely worth it to get the membership!

Does anyone how far in advance to join (in order to get card on time and use the welcome gift). Does the welcome gift expire?
