Expedition SeaWorld Guided Tour or Behind the Scenes Tour

Hello SW Experts! I need a little advice on whether or not the Expedition SeaWorld Guided Tour is worth the extra expense compared to the Behind the Scenes Tour? We already have reservations for Dinner with Shamu and are looking to maximize our one day visit. Thank you all in advance.

They are two very different experiences. The good thing about the Guided Tour is that you get reserved seats to the shows and express access to the rides. If you're wanting to maximise your time at the parks, this might be the better of the two options.

We just did the Behind The Scenes tour this August and would recommend it. 90 minutes, 10 guests total...very interesting and informative. Sons (and I) were thrilled to have the opportunity to pet a penguin. Interested to hear opinions on some of the other offerings.

I am also trying to decide igf I should purchase expedition tour. We are also going the week after Christmas and are interested in any advantage to avoid waiting in lines, the benefits of the tour sound great with all day dining, reserved seating and quick que but what exactly is the tour about? It last 7 hours, I'm not 100% sure of where the tour guide takes you ? Thanks for any help!
