I can't wait! Has anybody heard a lot about the ride? I was walking past it today and it is HUGE! It is two hundred feet tall. The ride is supposed to go like 70 mph. It goes up the mountain and you run into the Yeti and then back down the mountain backwords to escape the monster. Wait time is going to be crazy because it doesn't look like there are two tracks.

They have all the track down already and most of the "town" and a track leading up to the mountain so it is going to be a long wait.

I can't wait for this ride. I've been excited about it ever since I heard that it was being created. You can already see that the final theming product will be amazing.

last time i saw the structure it wasn't that high but then again, it was a while ago. it looks like its gonna be a great ride. im not a humongous roller coaster person but the ones at Disney never dissapoint me!

Accoriding to press releases it "almost" 200 feet...so it my not surpass ToT....we shall see.

TOT isnt the highest structure though... the light on the very tip of the wand on the ball in Epcot is... it is only taller than TOT by a couple feet/inches

Yeah well at Cedar Point there is a ride that is 420 feet tall. 423 if you count the little handrail for the repair people. So HA Disney.

yeah, i heard about it. you can see pics at rcdb.com and type in the name of the coaster. i heard the mountain is gonna be like 200 ft. tall, but the ride itself is gonna be like 110 or something

As far as I know, it is going to be exactly 199 feet. If it was any taller, they would have to put a tower on the top so the planes (even though WDW is a no-fly zone) will be able to see it. Technicalities aside, I can't wait!

How far along are they in building it? Will it be open by the time I go in May? I can't wait to ride it!
