Expedition Everest questions

For anyone who has ridden Expedition Everest:

1) Do you think a large person can fit inside the ride vehicle? What kind of restraint system does the ride use?

2) My 7 year old and 10 year old enjoy Big Thunder, Splash, and Space. Do you think they will enjoy EE, or will it be too intense? I'd hate to talk them into going on the ride only to enduce sheer panic attacks from fright!

1. Yes a large person can fit into the ride. I'm a size 24-26 and I fit just fine!

2. Its intense but not that bad. Its not as intense as RnR in my opinion. I would compare it to Big Thunder but its faster. It was fun though.

We just got back this past Tuesday. I would say that there is plenty of room in the ride vehicle for a larger person, there is just a lap bar restraint. The type that pulls down in front of you.

My dd who is 4 1/2 loved it!! It is more intense and faster than BTMRR but it is also sooooo much fun, your kids will love it. My dd rode 3 times so there is nothing about it that will terrify them or scar them for life, LOL.. My dd would tell me throughout the line that she was too scared and that this was going to be the last time she would ride then when I would tell her that we didn't have to ride again and we could get out of line she instantly said that's okay because I know you want to ride but this is the last time. Then we would get off and Dh would ask her if she wanted to go again and she jumped at the chance. Too funny. Have fun.
