I'm sure this has been asked many times many way's, but I really want to go on Ex. Everest but am concerned about my susceptibility toward motion sickness. Okay, I can do Space Mountain no problem, but won't even touch Rock n Roller Coaster, actually the only concern about Ex. Everest is when it goes backward, that part might send me into a tailspin. Anyone been on it that ordinarily gets sick on rides? Would Dramamine help? I just don't want one ride to ruin my day, especially being on the dining plan, I would hate to lose my appetite for the better part of the day. Any advice would be great.

dramamine definitely helps. I was a little dizzy when I got off (with Dramamine). But it's a great ride and over so fast.
I also ride RnR with Dramamine. HOnestly BTMR makes me feel the worst when I get off. I won't ride it without dramamine. Good luck.

Did Everest back in August for the first time. Had taken Bonine that morning (heard it makes you less drowsy than Dramamine), but as soon as we started to head backward -- WHOA!!! I immediately got sick and wound up having to go back to the room to recuperate. I can usually do any of the other rides there (haven't tried Mission:Space) with just slight effects, but there was no way I can do Everest again -- and that stinks cause it's a GREAT ride!! Who knows, maybe the Dramamine works better than Bonine. Also heard that ginger pills and seabands are good.

Good Luck!!
