Everest is outdoors and Galaxy is inside. Everest is an old ride and has a different story while Galaxy has a modern tech feel and is very new. Both has an inversion part. Both are very exciting. Galaxy needs virtual que.

I love Everest. This March we went once to just ride it multiple times in the evening (and one other day we rode just that and Dinosaur and ate). However Guardians is my new favorite ride at Disney. But they are close (as well as rockin rollercoaster).

They are so different that I'm not sure they are comparable. They are both roller coasters, but that's about all they have in common.

I can ride EE no problem, and I love it. I'm still working on riding GOTG without staring at a fixed point lol. I've ridden it twice. The first time I was very disoriented and didn't enjoy it. The second time I looked at the safety label on the seat in front of me, and I was able to ride without disorientation. Next time my goal is to look up a bit.

Everyone loves GOTG so much. That's why I'm trying to be able to ride it like everyone else. The music is awesome. The technology is innovative. It's just such a different experience than a "regular" coaster like EE.

I like the ride on Guardians better, but the story and theming is better on Everest. Guardians is just a tad too "screeny" if you know what I mean. I think I will go with Everest overall.

Yea, not really a good comparison of attractions.

If we had to choose and do one, it would definitely be Everest. I enjoy GOTG, as well, although I have family members who avoid it after experiencing some nausea afterwards! So now I'm often a single rider!

Absolutely love Guardians! I can't visit Epcot without taking a ride through the Galaxy!

I love both. Not sure you can really compare them as they are totally different experiences.
EE is a large static structure with no screens. GoTG is high tech with many screens.
Both are must do attractions for us.

Neither has an inversion. Going backwards is not an inversion. An inversion is when you go upside down. Neither Everest nor Guardians has you go completely upside down.

Another fan of Everest over here. I've only been on GotG once and it made me woozy even though I knew to try to pick a point. First time that's happened on a roller coaster to me.. fine with inversions, drops, motion simulators... just not this one. I'm hoping its a one off and will ride it again next month... other than that it feels like an upgraded space mountain with way more screens and storyline.

Love them both, but after my recent trip last week and getting to ride Guardians 4x it's now my favorite ride.
