what time does it stop running? I assume it does not run during ROL and the last FP+ available are always for 5pm even on a 9pm close.

EE runs until the park closes. FPs are no longer offered in the evening due to RoL Guests congregating in that general area.
So would you say the draw of ROL leaves EE riders open to ride over and over again with little wait times? Or is there still a long wait?

They also removed FPs when the Jungle Book Alive show was running.

We rode EE in September a few minutes before the park closed. No JB show so we had a FP. The Standby guests, who entered their line at the same time we entered the FP line, entered the ride vehicle at the same time that we did.

I'm not sure if that was typical for EE at night. The RoL theater holds about 5000 guests and there are two showings. As long as you rode before the first show let out, it shouldn't be too long of a wait.

We're going to AK on an evening when RoL isn't scheduled to run during the first week of April. I was hoping to get an evening FP for EE but none are available then either. I've been checking daily for several weeks now hoping they'd open them up since no RoL that night but nothing.

It appears that it is was easier for IT to stop all evening FPs for EE when they updated the system - probably in anticipation of RoL running nightly soon.

I thought that might be the case. Bummer. We've ridden EE many times but never at night. Hopefully standby won't be too crazy.

I'm hoping that the Single Rider line will be open.
The best SRL at WDW.

Just curious, does the last FP start or end at 5 for Ee? I'm assuming starts at 5 but just clarifying. Would like to ride it in the dark if possible (January trip).

We were there last Tuesday (March 7th) and went to ROL at 7:15. When it was over I headed straight to EE to try to get a nighttime ride in before the park closed at 8. The SR line was closed, but the ride was a walk on. I was able to ride twice from 7:40ish til 8. I probably could have made it in line for one more ride, but we decided to head on out after 2 rides. It seemed with a 7:15 ROL and an 8pm close most people headed out when ROL was over.

I've never rode EE during the daylight, but the ride in the dark was amazing! It has become my DS6 favorite ride! We rode it walk on 3 times in a row (with that being our first time to ride it ever) right after it got dark in Sept, so no Jungle Book no ROL, so my experience in that regard doesn't help.

(I hadn't been to Disney since the early 90s before we started going yearly 5 years ago, and I do not ride any rides my oldest hasn't been tall enough to ride, so that's why it was both of ours first time to ride. I'm excited for when he's tall enough to ride RnR so we can do that together for the first time too).

I was wondering why I could not score a FP+ after my RoL showing! I just rode last Thursday after RoL and it was about a 10 minute wait right after the show let out. By the time I finished my ride, the posted wait was 25 minutes. Definitely not bad! I would have attempted a second ride if I did not have an 8:55 ADR at the Wave.

This was the first time I rode it at night and it was great! Completely different experience. It is pitch black at parts, almost like space mountain. Going backwards was more thrilling, and you could see the Yeti projection much easier. The view of AK at night was also great!

We were there the same night, and rode EE twice between 6:25 and 6:45 and then sat down for our ROL FP. Off topic FP area for ROL was full and people had to stand or have their party broken up, so you may not want to wait till the end of the FP time frame.

That must have been you in front of me LOL. I did the same thing after RoL that night and when I saw that SR was closed I was concerned that the SB line had backed up in the mean time. But it had not. EE was very kewl at night time!

Haha! It must have been! I really enjoyed it more at night!

Evening FP for EE has finally become available! This morning I was able to change our EE FP for April 7th to 7:00pm. Woo Hoo!!

It appears so. There were several times available after the one I chose but 7:00pm works best in our plans.

I just went back and looked. The latest available one for the night we'll be there is 8:30 (park closing is at 9:30).
