Expedition Everest "chicken" exit?

DH went to ToT with me and DD - but was able to leave before getting on the elevator. I think it was called a "chicken exit". So he was able to enjoy the waiting in line and the pre-show with us - but just not the drop.

Does E:E have this option? I know he will NOT ride it with us.

I think all rides have a chicken exit. I know Big Thunder does (I've used it twice - hoping to get on that ride sometime! LOL!) and I remember reading that EE does too. Maybe someone can answer who has used it!

We did not use it, but you can back out of EE just as you board the cars. Saw many people do this. The entrance que is totally awesome, the crowds were so low when we were there we didn't have much chance to look around!

I've used it a few times, myself. However, I'm going to take Bonine for motion sickness and try it this next trip! Wish me luck!!!
