Expected rates for July 2005 ----- please indicate your forecast!!!

Well, we have decided on July 2005 for our vacation. Do we stand to get better discounted rates at the US resorts during July versus June? Which month is generally better to go? What is your forecasted nightly rate for July 2005 for a standard view room at RP? We are budgeting for 10 nights and I am not sure what to budget ----- it seems to be a crap shoot.

What if we go during the first part of August - what nightly rates could we expect to pay?

We are flexible and were wondering if there is a good time to go during the summer?

I always book our vacations for the last week of may or the first week of june. The week of may 22nd thru May 30 is particularly good. The rates are still low because technically they are not in the summer season yet. In the past I have paid only 99 dollars to 119 dollars a night for this time period at the royal pacific. The temperatures while warm are no where near the extremely hot temperatures of July. In additions, the crowds are lighter in my opinion.
This is once again the time period I have chosen to take my family.

I called Universal reservations a week or so ago. I was checking on rates for June. I was told the rates go up to peak rates June 10. The standard rate for HRH was $249 for a garden view room. Didn't check on RP though.

She told me to check back around August to see if the Entertainment discount rates have been entered in yet.

Value Season: Jan 4 - Feb 11, Aug 15 - Sept 30, Nov 28 - Dec 22
Regular Season: Apr 15 - June 16, Oct 1 - Nov 27
Peak Season: Feb 12 - Mar 31, June 17 - Aug 14
Holiday Season: Dec 23 - Jan 1

I paid 119 APH rate at RPR in June.

dont know if this helps, but.....

the price difference from last year to this was an increase of $10.00 per night. we are staying at the same hotel, same room ( club) and almost the same dates. late october.
