Where there any boards that you visited when you were expecting or trying to get pregnant? Many of the boards that I have visited are very slow and of course I am impatient!!

I love parentsplace. it merged with parentsoup (part of ivillage) so there are many duplicate boards, the pp ones move much faster than the ps ones.

I sometimes read the infertility boards at Ovusoft (www.ovusoft.com), as well as some of the ones already listed above.

I love www.fertilityfriend.com. They have boards for trying to conceive (and you can use their charts to chart your fertility signs) and then you can move over to the pregnancy boards. I still go to those boards - there is a Moms General Chat where I post regularly. I also used/use www.ovusoft.com. And occasionally www.parents.com.

Are you looking for a message board like this one? I found a great group of women at www.iparenting.com. They have Due in (insert month) clubs, so you can talk with moms due the same time as you. I met my group when I was pregnant with my second, due in July 04, and we are still together. We don't post on iparenting still as we went to a more private board. I've tried ivillage and it was just too big for me. I could never remember who anyone was.

Over the years, I went from the trying to conceive boards, to the prego ones, to the m/c one to the adoption one to the toddler one and then drifted here...what a rollercoaster, LOL, glad to have landed safely here, LOL. Good luck!

I used to check out Babycenter (still do sometimes). I was actually a moderator on one of the boards over there for awhile. You can always find some sort of drama to keep you entertained.

That's how my Parentsplace board ended up...I check it every now and then, but it started getting away from parenting and into DRAMA. I think sometime last year, something happened and half the board made a YAGE to another site.
