exit tolls

Which section of 417? Cash collection for the portion of 417 operated by the Central Florida Expressway Authority (Cfxway.com) resumed on June 1, 2020.

if taking 417 are the exit toll booths cashless or can you still use quarters
The exits have exact change toss-a-coin-in-the-basket toll booths. Everything is in multiples of $.25, but I think they will take coins ranging between $.05-$.25. No pennies, and probably no dollar coins.

If you are taking 417S to WDW and exiting at exit 6, there are two tolls in each direction (stay far right for exact change and toll taker booths—the cash lanes almost look like exits). Tolls were $1.75 each as of last month.

Last month one of the exact change booths was closed for construction. I lean towards using the toll taker booths, even with exact change.

To clarify: those are the mainline tolls, not the exit tolls. The exit toll booths are unmanned.

If you take exit 6 you don’t have to go through an unmanned toll exit. If you go to exit 3 there is an unmanned exit where it’s either exact change or a transponder.

OP did not specify which section of 417 nor which exit they would be using. Since most questions here are related to driving to/from WDW, I started my answer with the word “If”.

OK, but OP specifically asked about "exit" tolls. I was just making sure it was clear that exact change is required at exit tolls. It is certainly true that not all exits have tolls.

Sorry, you are correct. My old eyeballs read what they wanted.
